We talk, Danny and I, for a while. But nothing he says registers as a memory. It regesters as an idea. One someone fed to me in hopes that I would understand and remember, but I can't. He tries telling me about my supposed son, and my relationship with James, but I never remember having a son, or dating "James". He tries explaining how "Ben" has been my best friend for years, and "OIiver" is my ex, though one of my best friends now. But nothing clicks. A while later, probably a few hours, a doctor comes in.
"You can have your guests overnight, Mrs.Worsnop. But please, keep noise to a minimum." he says after he finishes checking my vitals. I nod and Danny goes out to retrieve the 5 others who were sent out hours ago.
"Hey babygirl. I've missed you so much. Samantha has Seth, though you don't know who they are. But you're awake. That's all that matters now." Ben, I think it is, says, giving me a small smile. I nod and try to remember who Seth and Samantha are. Anything to make me remember, but nothing does.
Danny told me how Seth is James and my 3 year old son, but I don't remember having a son. Danny says he doesn't know where I am. He thinks I'm away for work. Hell, I don't even remember what I did for work other than what Danny told me earlier. But that doesn't matter. Because if everything he said couldn't make me remember, maybe nothing can.
Overnight, none of us really sleep. They all tell me about my life. Well, except James. He seems....distant. Oliver doesn't do anything but hold my hand, but that's okay. If someone I supposedly knew so well just woke up from a long coma, I would be shocked too.
Danny tells me about my childhood up until the accident. Every detail and memory he can think of, he relays to me. It seems...interesting. And the way he explains it, we were extremely close. I like the thought of having a brother, and I guess I do, though I don't remember him whatsoever.
Ben tells me about how we met, and instantly became best friends. How we always got in trouble together and how we were always together. It seems great. He seems like such a sweetheart and it makes me laugh at every memory how he tells us how we got in whatever trouble or how much fun we had. I want to remember, so, so bad.
Sam tells me how he always would listen when I was upset. He seems so....caring, yet wild. It's great. He tells me how Seth, my son, confused him and Cam's names and has to constantly remind the child that he's 'Sam' not 'Cam'.
Cameron tells me how we would party together and be crazy, how I always got him to be outgoing when we would go out and make him talk to pretty girls. How we got thrown out of a few clubs together, even though he's so quiet.
Oliver doesn't tell me anything, he needs time and I understand that. He promised me that tomorrow, he would tell me our story from the very beginning, up until this point. And I couldn't be more excited. If our story is that detailed, then I can't wait.
James tells me a lot though. He explains how we had Seth together 3 years ago. How we live together, as a family. And how we're dating. How I'm with him because of a mistake we made at a party a few years back. I cheated on Oliver with him? Hm. I'll have to ask Oliver about that when he tells me our story tomorrow.
The rest of the boys, other than James, went to go get me food. This horrid hospital food is killing me!
"I'm sorry, Trysten." James says suddenly. I look up and see tears streaming down his face.
"Why?" I ask, confused as to why he's sorry and why he's crying.
"You're here because of me. I did this. If I hadn't gone out that night you wouldn't have gotten hurt." he says, sobs racking his body.
"I got hit, James. This isn't your fault." I say, gesturing to the hospital bed I'm currently lieing in.
"I came home with some blond whore that night because I was shitface drunk. You left. You got hit. You're here because of me." he says, crying even more than he was. I pull his hand into mine.
"Hey. It's okay. We'll deal with that once I remember.." I say, giving him a hopeful smile. He doesn't say anything, instead, he gets up and leaves.
I sit there, dumbfounded. Until the boys all get back.
"Where's James?" Danny asks as he walks in and sets down the bags of food from a place called Del Taco.
"He left." I say simply. Danny just nods and hands me some food. We all eat and talk, well they tell me memories, until we all fall asleep.
Hopefully I can remember, sooner or later I know I will. I just hope it's sooner than later.
So guys, this is Oliver, Alexandria's cousin. Yeah, her name is Alexandria. Like the band, and yes, we are English.
