Joe has always been a loner; he never depended on anyone except himself. He always shut everyone out because he was afraid. He was afraid of judgement and rejection. He was terrified of the criticism he would face if anyone found out his secret. Joe is gay, he likes his best friend. Caspar Lee, He is the most gorgeous human Joe has ever gazed his eyes on. Joe is afraid to be himself, he is to afraid to tell Caspar his feelings. He can't do it, it makes him physically sick. He gets so worked up over the thought of coming out to anyone. Joe has tried multiple times to tell his sister Zoe that he's gay; but he never got the courage. He can't even begin to think how his viewers will react.
Little does Joe know Caspar has been trying to do the same. He was utterly terrified to tell Joe. Caspar is bisexual, he has liked Joe for the longest time. He wants to be with him, but he doesn't know how is will work. He is afraid of everything how will his family react. How will everyone react? He asks himself these things everyday.
