Bahja.

I walked into the building and saw everyone shooting me dirty glances. Nobody talked to me. They looked at me with straight disgust. I walked into my cubicle and pulled out my phone. I texted my best friend, Jerrica.

Bahja: Yo, Jay.
Jerrica: Wassup?
Bahja: Somethin ain't right...
Jerrica: Wym?
Bahja: just come down to my cube.
Jerrica: Alright.

I sighed and put my phone in my purse.  Three other people stared at me and whispered to each other while walking. This is getting annoying. I walked up to Chresanto's office and barged in. I saw our co-worker, Kim, all over him. "What is going on?"

"No. The question is, what's going on with you and Chresanto?" "Nothing! And why does it matter to you anyway? Our business is our business." "Word is around the office that you two are fucking around." I shot a look at Chresanto. "Who told you that??" I said, then turning back to Kim. "That is none of your business. But you better watch your back, Bahja Rodriguez." She buttoned up her shirt and walked out the office. I turned to Chres and walked towards him.

"How do they know?!?!" He backed away. "I don't know!! I just found out this morning, I swear!" "Whatever. This just better not get back to my boyfriend or your wife." I stormed out the office and saw Jerrica waiting outside my cube. I walked over and grabbed my stuff. "Bae, what's wrong?" "Get your shit. We're taking a ride." I said as we walked downstairs and out of the building."

Chresanto.

Ok. This is bad. This is officially bad. It's worse than I thought it would be. So many people who work here are close friends with Maliah and Patrice. What if they find out? My whole marriage will be ruined. I gotta find a way to fix this.

My office door swung open and in walked my sister, Karlae. "I think you know what this is for..." She said, handing me a cup of coffee and a donut. "The whole Bahja thing?" "Yes. Just be 100 with me right now. Are the rumors true?" I sighed and stood in front of her. "Yes."

She huffed and sat her things on my couch. "I mean, I work in Union City, you work all the way in Riverdale, yet I still hear about this at work. Do you have any idea how this makes me look with my colleagues, Chresanto?! People looked at me like I'm the one sleeping with the girl!" "I'm sorry." I tried to hug her, but she pushed me off, the same way Bahja did. "You're always sorry. I'm sick of the bullshit apologies." She picked up all her things. "I gotta go. I'll see you tonight..." She walked out.
