Alright guys, here we are at the first chapter, I hope you like it. Na, just kidding. You can't read this book, it is too good for you. Jk, jk. Let's go!

Xiao Shen's P.O.V.

I am finally six years old! Father is about to tell me my spirits! Oldest brother got a level 9 Lion Tiger, a pretty rare spirit. And at a good level too! Just like dad's Lion Tiger, lucky!

Second oldest brother turned out to have a unique spirit: an auxiliary food system! At level 8 too! In a group, can be very helpful!

Third brother, who is a year older than me, has the fiery phoenix spirit, which is even rarer than oldest brother! At level 6, it was pretty amazing! Comparable to both of the oldest brothers put together, third brother did not brag, but merely shrugged and said that he should start training immediately.

I was last, youngest of the family. I was nervous as daddy grabbed my hand to release my spirit. Or, should I say, spirits! The room went silent and seemed to be almost completely dead. There, in my hand, was three spirits! The rarest anyone has seen was two spirits in one person! And now, I have three! All at level ten, which is the highest your spirit can start at, my first spirit was river grass, which, if used correctly, could be very strong indeed! My second one, was a body spirit, which is even rarer than dual spirits! Mine happened to be the best too! My eyes could now be enhanced, and used to help teammates in battle. The first person to reveal having this kind of power, eventually became one of the strongest people to ever live. With his only spirit being his eyes, he started at level 1, and was at first called trash. But, his determination and battle courage was outstanding! He faced any foe, any challenge, and never backed down. He eventually got an absolute ice power, which is the most powerful ice power of them all. Seeing my first two stunned me, having the spirits of two of the strongest people to ever have existed, really was an honour. But the third spirit, was something completely unexpected. It was air. An element spirit, which isn't too rare, but air had never been heard of before. It was normally ice, fire, and in very rare cases, earth. But not ever had someone seen air. And, it was at level 10, just like the other two spirits I had. I turned out to be the luckiest person in history without doing anything! Well, that's what I think, anyway.

"Son, you must keep two of your spirits a secret, until you want people to know of them, don't let anyone know of them. There are very bad people around nowadays, and I don't want to see you hurt, or worse." Father said, carefully. Even though I was only six, I understood the meaning behind his words. "Choose one to practice in the open, and you can practice the other two in secret, but no one but us must know they exist. Do you understand me?" My father asked. I knew immediately that my voice wouldn't work, so I nodded my head and bowed, as a sign of respect and acknowledgement of my father's words. Father sighed, and turned around. He walked out of the room, and went to the kitchen. I could tell he was worried, cause he made himself food, and he never did that. I normally did, cause I was amazing on the grill, or so he normally says. But he made himself a sandwhich. He really was depressed. Besides the time mother died, he had never been this upset. I knew he was worried for my saftey, but just how much, I couldn't tell. I may only be 6 years old, but I understood better than a 10 year old. When I was three, mother got sick. No one could figure out what was wrong, and a month later, she died. My father was destroyed by it. My older brothers all supported father, and I cooked. About a year later, father recovered, and we became stronger from it.

Two days later, father took me to a spirit master, one of his oldest friends, to confirm my spirits. "What a rare talent! River grass! Just like Tang San, the only Dou God to exist! But, spirit eye? Wow! Definetly very strong, especially useful to teammates in battle. But, an element spirit? Hohoho, this is unbelievable! Air as a spirit has not ever been heard of, and I'm not sure if there is a spirit beast that can help with this spirit. But, alone, it can defend, and attack, which is very surprising. Your river grass spirit is especially helpful in battle, because it will allow you to take stronger attacks, and be hurt less by them. This eye spirit, is very unique. If you get a strong enough spirit, it can unlock a "God's Eye" so to speak. Three hundred years ago, there lived a man named Huo Yuhao, and he also had spirit eyes. His starting spirit level was only 1. Considered trash, he worked hard. Harder than anyone before him. He based his entire life on growing stronger, just so he could have the power to avenge his mother's murder. He met with the murderer on many occasions, his anger trying to consume him. He managed to push it down, until he was of age. He then revealed his harsh past with the man, and the man became terrified. He ran for his life, trying to escape his fate. But Huo Yuhao had other ideas. He quickly caught up, and faced his life long enemy. The man attacked trying to take out Yuhao before he could have his revenge. But he failed. Using his spirit eyes, Yuhao knew every attack the man tried, and in the end, Yuhao got his revenge. Tortured the man to death." The spirit master finished. "But, none of that's important. What is important, is that everyone should know of your river grass spirit, while you hide the other two. That's what I would do, if I were you anyway." He suggested. "I think you are wise, and also agree with your thoughts, spirit master. I shall allow everyone to know of my river grass, while hiding my other two." I replied, bowing.

"Well, it's been great seeing you, old friend. May I wish you and your son's the best." The spirit master said, patting father on the back. "As do I, Ra' Shu." Father responded. As we walked out the door, I waved at Ra' Shu, and he waved back, smiling. When we got home, all three older brothers were asleep in the living room. As usual. I said goodnight to father, and walked down the hall to my room. I sat on my bed, and thought about the previous days' events. I couldn't believe I was so special! I started to train my river grass almost immediately. At some point, it seems that I fell asleep, and when I woke up in the morning, I could feel something good inside. I went downstairs, and I asked father why I felt so good. "Why, you leveled up your river grass to level 11 already! Were you really up all night training?" He exclaimed.

"Yes, I was father. I started to think, when I go to school, I am going to need to be able to defend myself. So I started to train. I fell asleep at some point, and I didn't feel myself level up, so could it be possible that I kept training as I slept?" I asked him.

"Yes, it is possible, but it is a little rare. You are quite gifted, son. To level up three days after awakening your spirits is pretty rare, and pretty talented, although it has been done. You are a special person, son. Never forget that." Father said, patting me on the shoulder. I nodded, and went outside. It was cool out here, very relaxing. Perfect for training. I went behind the small tree, where I always went by myself. I sat down, and started to train.

A couple days passed, and I had leveled up again. Father couldn't believe how fast I was leveling up. He joked that if I kept training so hard, it might be unhealthy. I laughed, knowing he was only joking, and I slowed down my training a bit. Two weeks later, I leveled up yet again, and my older brothers were excited. They treated me to a feast, with money they saved up themselves from work around the town. Next week is the beginning of the new semester for school, and the two eldest were going. I would have to wait two years to sign up. They were headed to the legendary Shrek Academy, the best school in the continent. And in the tournaments, Shrek almost always won. In very rare cases, the Sun and Moon empire won in the continent wide contest. But it hasn't happened in twenty seven years. And the school plans to keep it that way.

Alright, we'll end it here. Next chapter is going to start with two years later, Xiao Shen's progress, a family update, and starting the school year. Hope you like it so far, and continue to like it, and until next time, or in comments, lataz!
