T I S O Y"Meng."
If you watch something close enough, you realize that you have no possible way of telling where it's going or how fast it's getting there. This, is actually a scientifically proven truth. By scientists who all got together and agreed that: Yes, you think you notice but you really don't. Because if you pay attention to where it's going or how fast it's moving, you stop watching it properly.
It.
It.
It...her.
I watched her the entire time in the cemetery.
With tears streaming down her face,
The wind blowing through her hair.
I watched as she stepped back when I reached out for her.
And stepped forward when I stood still.
Back and forth.
Back and forth.
Like an endless tug-of-war between two people who had different versions of enough but wanted to be.
Together.
I watched her closely and I thought that it was enough.
That I was enough.
"Meng!" I said, but she had already moved.
"Meng."
It happened a month ago and now every woman I meet looks exactly like her.
"Meng?"
They have the same hair.
The same gait.
The same eyes.
Everything.
They even breathe the same.
"Meng?"
Please be her.
