Chapter 25 - I missed you

After storming away from my little jealousy temper tantrum I decided to go back up to the boys room since I had nothing else to do. When I got to the room door I used the room key Harry asked me to hold for him and quickly went inside.

Sighing I collapsed on the couch. Reaching for the remote and turning on the TV, I surfed through the different channel stopping on sponge bob. What? You're never to old for sponge bob.

After about 10 minutes of watching TV I got hungry. My doctor said cravings are going to start soon and I think now is the time. Standing up and slugging to the kitchen I raided the cupboards but found nothing that tickled my fancy. Rushing to the fridge I swung it open sticking my head inside looking.

Suddenly I heard the room door open. The boys told me that Liam was with Danielle and would be back at around this time. So thinking it was Liam I kept my head in the fridge.

"Liam! I'm so hungry and you guys have absolutely nothing in this fridge!" I whined.

"I'm not Liam." I heard a familiar voice say causing my heart to drop.

My head snapped toward the voice and my eyes widened to see Zayn standing a few feet away in sweat pants and a plain white shirt.

"O-oh um, sorry I thought that Liam and um oh." I stuttered trying to figure out what to say. He smiled lightly at my fumbling words. I straightened my body from my crouched position. I stood there staring at my feet not knowing what to say.

"Wow, you're getting big." Zayn said breaking the awkward silence. I looked up meeting his eyes and smiled looking back down to my tummy. I placed my hand over my protruding stomach and nodded.

"How far along are you?" He asked placing his car keys on the counter.

"About 4 months." I responded leaning against the fridge. He nodded fiddling with his fingers. I was beginning to get very uncomfortable standing there shifting my feet back and fourth. It's hard to think of what to say. I mean, what would you say to your x-boyfriend that you are still kind of in love with who just comes out of no where starting conversation with you?

I was still pist about what happened at dinner with Perrie insulting me. I can't really be mad at Zayn because he couldn't control. But it seems like he's always picking her over me. 

When we were finally reunited and we shared apologized he didn't ask me out and of course he denied me for Perrie. Maybe I was taking things to fast but it still hurt. Before I could even stop myself I blurted out, "Are you still dating Perrie?"

He shoved his hands in his pockets locking eyes with me. "No, I broke up with her the night of the dinner." He admitted.

I felt my heart skip a beat. Does that mean he broke up with her because of what she said to me?

"What she said to you was totally uncalled for and i'm sorry on behalf of her rude behavior." He announced as if reading me mind. "And she was getting annoying if I'm honest." He chuckled. I smiled along.

My smile slowly faded as we fell into silence yet again. Soon after Zayn then spoke up. "Are you and Harry together?" 

I shook my head. "So you guys broke up?" He asked. I swear I saw a flicker of hope in his eye.

"We were never together." I spoke. He looked confused. "We always acted like a couple but we were never in an official relationship." 

He nodded and relief was spread across his features.

"Look Ariana, I know its a bit awkward right now and I hate that feeling between us. I miss talking to you everyday can we just try to be friends again or at least talk because it literally kills me when the boys talk about you and I don't know what they're even saying because I haven't been in your life the past few weeks. I'm just sorry for everything." Zayn finished his speech with a long heavy sigh.

I smiled walking up to him and wrapping my arms around his torso. He let out a shaky breath mirroring my actions and resting his chin on my head.

I inhaled his smell that I've missed so dearly. "I've missed you too."

I hate to end the chapter at such a cliff hanger but you guys keep asking to update so I did. I could've updated yesterday but I wanted to add more to the already short chapter. But anyways I hope you enjoy! Question for you all, Do you think Harry is going to forget all about Ariana for Samantha??
