My eyes slowly opened.
I found myself laying in the middle of what seemed to be a classroom.
Ugh, my head. Where the heck am I?
Sharp throbbing pain bombarded me at the back of my head moments after I woke up.
My body felt disoriented as I tried to stand up and this headache is not helping in any way.
My legs felt stiff and my eyesight is blurry. I decided to sit down for a while rather than force myself to stand up.
I surveyed my surroundings; white board, tables, chairs, aircons and a huge window pane in the wall. It took me a moment to realize I'm currently at one of the classroom at Roxas North High.
My panic lowered as I realized I'm at our school. I'm familiar here so I won't have a hard time finding my way out. I'm still wondering why am I here though. I tried to recall what happened before this but to my disappointment, I can't remember a thing.
As moments pass by, my eyesight slowly returned to it's original state.
I can now see the posters on the wall and the words written on the board. English and fill-in the blank questions filled the whole board. Nothing significant.
It's unnaturally dark out here, I can barely even see what's outside the window. The dark corners of the room seemed like something is about to pop out any moment soon.
I know I shouldn't be be thinking of such things but my imagination can be really playful sometimes.
Even though my eyesight is back, my legs still feels stiff.
I inspected my body for any wound or injury. After checking, I realized I'm on my school uniform.
If I could just remember a thing before this whole mess then that would be great.
I checked my pockets for my cellphone. Unfortunately, my cellphone nor my bag is nowhere to be found.
The feeling of isolation slowly crept into me.
This place is getting creepier every time I think about it. My non-existent fear has slowly morphed into reality every time the thought of being alone on a dark classroom at night crosses my mind.
Panic slowly grew inside me.
Why is it so dark? Why the hell am I here?
My eyes darted to every corner of the room. I can feel an eye darting me like a prey. I'm getting paranoid. My heart beat faster and faster.
Ok, maybe I should really stand up now.
*clack *clack *clack
My heart skipped a beat as I heard a faint echoing sound. My eyes darted into the front and back door of the room.
I rested my palm on the floor and gave myself another push. I managed to get up for a brief moment only to fall flat on my sides.
*clack *clack *clack
I don't know why but my instincts tells me that I need to get the hell out of here as fast as I could.
