Faulty love.

Chapter 4: the meal with royalty.

Thinking and wondering what had already happened today. Then a cry from downstairs "honey lets go." Serena checked herself in the mirror and walked out of her room down the stairs to be greeted by her mother who was standing next to the door. They walked outside the house , and down the road to a what seemed to look like a palace then they entered.

This place was huge and looked very fancy, a butler escorted them to the dining room, they sat down at this huge dining room table and were greeted by 2 faces, the mayor and Jacob!!!!! Serena confused questioned "I never knew you lived here Jacob." He nodded then his father(the mayor!) started talking "so I see how this gem will be suitable, good choice my son." Serena's mother looked down at her food looking very guilty, "what do you mean I am suitable." Serena said in confusion, The mayor began "well isn't it obvious to be my sons wife, it was an agreement between me and your mother, that is why you are here." Serena started to feel herself panic and then ran out of the room, the mayor spoke "did you not tell her." Serena's mother spoke "no, this was your idea after all, I need the best for my baby but if you can't win her we will look elsewhere." The mayor shouted "it was all your fault and if she doesn't fall in love with my son then I will have no choice but to kill you." Jacob left the room after that, Serena's mother spoke "well if you kill me you will have no chance with my daughter and at least she would be happy even if I where dead." Serena's mother carried on eating. 

Meanwhile Serena was crying in the hallway , Jacob approaches her "hey." Serena turned away and then spoke "you never told me and this isn't right, I am aloud to make that choice when the time is right not being forced into love, this is wrong." Jacob agreed. Serena left him in the hallway and went home as fast as she could, and when home she slammed onto her bed crying into her pillow before falling asleep.
