Drew’s POV

I feel my bed move. It’s not a waterbed though…

I then sit up, watching Elena jumping on my bed. “GET UP, DREWSIE!” She giggled. Fiona calls me that…. But good thing is that I was forced to break up with her because of the move! I didn’t like her calling me that, but with Elena, it felt right somehow.

“What time is it, squirt?” I ask lazily.

“Time for school!” she laughed more.

School? Not again….

I then realize that both Mark and Will are up, all dressed and presentable.

“Finally, you’re gonna make us late!” Mark said, fixing his hair. I grabbed a shirt and some jeans from my suitcase and headed into the bathroom. I opened the door and covered my eyes. I was in the wrong bathroom…. Guess that Sammi and Lily told me where the girls’ bathroom was instead of the boys. Those little bi-

“Ugh! Again? You f****** pervert!”

Macy?

I see that she doesn’t have her shirt on yet… aw man! But she's in the middle of putting it on, as I saw her stomach...

Stop it!

“Is it just me, or do you just like it when you barge in on me like that?” she asked sarcastically, putting her shirt over her head.

“So, pervert is your new favorite word now? Or is it just a nickname for me?” I playfully ask back.

“Not funny, Drew! And… can you close the door? Some of us need some privacy for once!” now she seemed mad.

I did what was told. I then returned to the other bathroom, and changed there. Man! People these days!

Turns out that Anna had to tour me around the school, since she is in the same grade as me. Lily is a freshman, Will and Macy are sophomores, Sammi is a junior and Mark is also a senior. Our school name is Roseville High and our school colors were blue and yellow. Mascot: Bruins (fancy term for bears) and the school rivals are the Montgomery Panthers.

“… And this is your locker.” Anna told me. 351.

I looked at my notecard: 6, 27, and 11. I twisted the lock and pulled the latch. I then put my new supplies in my locker and shut the door.

“So, you and Macy aren’t exactly the best at picking the best times to talk, huh?” Anna interrogated.

“Guess not.” I replied with guilt in my voice.

“Now, you’re wondering why I left you your first night… I think it’s pretty obvious.” She said.

“Well, why did you leave me? And what’s obvious?” I asked.

“Both of these things add up to the bigger picture… you like Macy.”

“No, I don’t!” I protested. “I may have ran into her dancing and getting dressed, but that doesn’t prove anything!”

“Oh yeah? Well, we all talk about how your face lights up whenever she’s around and how you try to always make conversation with her.” She proves.

“So? I’m just trying to be friendly. I am new here, might as well make new friends…”

“Right… friendly alright. Just wait until you guys try to-“

“ENOUGH! I get it!” I interrupt, knowing what she was going to say next.

Macy comes up to us. “I see that the pervert is making conversation with my sister now! What’s next, you guys in bed?” she snapped.
