Bullied by Hayes Grier

Hayes's POV:

"Please don't do this to me" I said "Samy I'm sorry for doing this to you please get down from there"
"Now you're sorry. After 2 years now you apologize" She was crying "Hayes you don't know what I've been through"
"I know what you been through and I'm sorry for all those things that happen. Okay please just get down"
"No. I don't deserve to suffer anymore"
"Samy please"
"Goodbye Hayes"

She jumped and I jumped in after her. It was dark and I couldn't see anything. I went back underwater and tried to find her. After a couple of seconds I found her. I swam to her and she wasn't breathing. I pulled her out of the water.

"No no please"

I gave her cpr.

"Samy please wake up"

I did it again. After a couple of times doing that she spit up water and started breathing. I gave her a hug.

"Don't you ever do that again" I said

I got her up and she was shivering. I told her let's go to my house and she nods her head yes. I tried to keep her warm as possible till we got to my house. I open the front door and my mom came running to see who it was.

"Hayes what the hell do you know what time is it"
"Yes mom I do but.."
"Why are you both wet"
"Mom can we please get her to into dry clothes and I'll explain later"
"Okay"

She walks off with her and I went into my room. I put on pjs and a plain grey shirt. I dried my hair with a towel. I walked back down stairs and I seen my mom sitting on the couch. I sat on the other died.

"Explain me what happen Hayes" She said
"I did terrible things to her just because I wanted to be popular. I was the one who told her to kill herself. I already know that she was going through so much at home. I should of stayed friends with her when I became different. I wish I could go back in time and start this over when we were in 6th grade and she was the new kid."

I didn't know that I was crying. My mom came over and hugged me. I seen something move out of the corner of my eye. We both pulled away. She talked to me about not to bully someone just to become popular. We've talked for about an hour till I told her I was going to check on Samy. I got up and walked to the guest room. I knocked on the door and she didn't answer. I knocked again and no answer. I open the door and peeked my head in. She wasn't there. I seen the window open and a note on the bed. I sat on the bed and read it.

Thanks for being there when I first moved here and for being the new kid at school. I'm sorry for what I did and I'm sorry for not giving you a second chance to be my friend. You should know that I don't belong at my parents house or anywhere at all. So I going to Oklahoma to live with my sister. Goodbye Hayes.

I put it back on the bed and laid down. I brushed my hands against my hair. I need to stop her. Where is she going to sleep? When did she buy the plain ticket? Questions were going through my head. I quickly got up and walked to my mom.

"Mom we need to go and find Samy"
"What do you mean she's should be in the room"
"No she climb out of the window and left me a note. She said she was going to Oklahoma to live with her sister and I don't want her to go"
"Hayes it's her choice she can go if she wants to"
"But where is she going to sleep for the night?"
"She probably went back to her house or to an other friends house"
"Where's my phone?"

I looked for my phone on the couch. I looked in my room and I found it on my night stand. I called Samy. Voicemail. I called her again. Voicemail again.

"She's not going to answer" I heard Nash say
"Shut up Nash she may will"
"No cause I called her because she's my best friend"
"No she's not she's mine"
"Not after what you did to her. Hayes just let her go"
"No I can't I can't let her go to Oklahoma"
"Hayes she wants to start a new life maybe it's for the best to let her"

I let out a breath. Maybe it is for the best.

"Maybe you're right Nash its for the best"
"See now you should get some rest"

He walks out of my room and closes my door. I covered myself with my blankets and closed my eyes. Hope she will do well in Oklahoma.
