Chapter 22. Summer Vibes

Alina POV

I wake up and check the time,it's ten in the morning and weirdly i'm not tired, it feels like I've been sleeping for a long time and I feel fresh and wide awake. I haven't felt like this in a while. Because of my shuffling Zayn wakes up.

"Mornin lo - Oh,I'm so sorry,you shoul-" He realized that his arms were around me

"Zayn,it's okay.." I cut him off...I placed my hand on his and he looks at my hand then looks at me,like he's shocked or something. It made me giggle...the fuck? I giggled like a little 5 year old...God Zayn,he needs to stop doing what he's doing.

"I don't think anyone is up so we can stay here..or we go down,it's up to you.." He smiled

"We'll stay here." I smiled...

"Did you sleep okay.." He asked.

"Yeah." I say...why are we talking like this. We sound like we've never met and we just found ourselves in bed together. It's just awkward

"Good." That's all he said...

"I'm going to brush my teeth and go down..so yeah" I went to the bathroom.

Well...that was weird. Why was it like that?

Once I finished I left the bathroom and I saw Zayn getting out of the bed and he's walking to the bathroom. I get my clothes out and get changed before he came. I don't bother to wait so went down.

Why was it so weird this morning? I don't get it. Was it because it was late last night and we weren't ourselves? I shouldn't have even thought anything could've happened between me and Zayn. I always do this. I always think ahead and get my hopes up. What was i thinking? Me liking Zayn?! Pff! Please!

I went down and saw everyone there.

"Ohh Morning sleeping beauty. Last one up eh?! Was Zaynie and Ali getting naughty?!" Louis teased

"No,we were up because of your naughtiness actually!" I said

"Aha! Very funny!" Louis said

"Where is our Zaynie anyway?!" Niall asked

"Dunno,probably fell in the toilet." I said

"Actually,I'm right here" Zayn said from behind me. Shit

He walked past me without even looking at me...okay something was definitely wrong. The boys went out to the pool area to have some guy time I guess. I sat down with the girls as they were just eating and playing music and stuff. I grabbed an apple since I wasn't really feeling a lot of food

"Alina,what was that?! Why do you and Zayn look you wanna kill each other...again." Dani said

"I don't know and anyway,it's not me,it's Zayn who's making it awkward." I said,taking a bite out my apple.

"Why? Did anything happen between you two last night?!" Eleanor said..

"Nope! We just talked." I said...this apple is really good by the way.

"You sure?! Because you two were really cute and you two were finally getting close." Paige said..

"I know as much as you do okay! I wanna know why he's acting like this as well." I say. Okay..I need another one of these apples
