It was Saturday and Jane asked me to come over early to help set up and meet her parents. When I pulled up the drive Jane was waiting, I drew in a breath, their house was giant. I was surprised at how big it was, I got out an said hello to Jane. When Alec walked out I stiffened up, he has been flirting with me all week, I didn't mind it, but I never had anyone feel that way about me before.

Alec grabbed my hand and said, "Come meet my parents my love."

I blushed, "Okay."

I nervously walked into their grand home, a man and a woman were standing in what seemed to be a foyer. Alec nodded toward the man, "This is my father, Aro," he then nodded to the woman, "This is my mother, Sulipca."

Sulpica came and gave me a hug and kissed me on the cheek, Aro came next, and hugged me. "What a pleasure to meet you," said Aro.

Jane and Alec's parents looked nothing like their children, yes they were all pale and had odd eyes, but Sculpia had black hair, with blonde highlights, Aro, had pitch black long hair. They were both tall and looked very young, and from a different time. The way they spoke was strange as well. This family was not normal and I will find out what their secret is.

"Alec, show Rosemary around, and then you can finish setting up for the party," says Sulpica.

"Of course mother," he took my hand and led me to the fifth floor, he went through a vintage wooden door that opened up into a lavishly furnished bedroom.

"Wow," I said," Is this your room," I asked dumbly.

He smiles,"Yes."

Alec shut the door, he slowly pulled me into an embrace. He stroked my hair, "do you like it?"

"Yes, but I am not sure this is wha-"

He kissed me, softly, then passionately, he pulled away, "I'm sorry I couldn't help myself."

"Don't be sorry," I pulled him back to me and kissed him fervently, I tangled my hands in his hair and tried to pry his mouth open with my lips. He ripped himself away from me and shook his head, "Please don't do that," he sighed, "You are," he paused," Making it very difficult for me to be around you."

"I-i'm sorry," I stuttered with tears in my eyes, "I-i just thought."

"Shh, shh, it's okay, I am not upset, let's go finish decorating. We finished decorating the house chattering endlessly about random things. We finished just as soon as guests started showing up.
