Rosemary's POV My jaw dropped, what the fuck did he just say? "Y-you what?"
Alec groaned, "I am not sure she can handle this," he held his face in his hands.
"Alec, It's fine, it's just a lot to take in, explain all of it for me please," I reassured Alec that I was okay with it, "Matter of fact, I always believed that there was a possibility of vampires."
Aro snapped his head in my direction, "Really, how interesting."
"Y-yes," I smiled.
"Well, let me explain then, we are a 'royal family' who live in Volterra Italy, and we make the rules for the Vampire world. We call ourselves the Voturi, and those who break the rules are punished."
"With death," Jane said and grinned widely.
I gasped and then smiled back, "Sounds fun, actually." Aro laughed maniacally, "Then you will do just fine on our guard. "
Alec looked at me and smiled, "You are my mate, that is why we came here. We will take you to Volterra and after you get settled in, we will make you one of us. We have decided to take you now, because it seems as though you have the gift of compulsion. At least when you are a vampire you will. You are very persuasive."
"Awesome, when do we leave?"
"Well," said Aro, " you need to know a few uh, rules, before we can take you. There are three of us, you will call you masters, me, Caius, and Marcus. Marcus is, hm, the friendliest of all of us, and Caius, stay on his good side. If you know what is good for you. Most of us have gifts, I have the gift Tactile Telepathy, Marcus has the gift to feel Relational empathy, bonds, I guess you could say. Caius doesn't have any powers, but he is lethal, and has blood lust inside of him. Now for our wives, mine is Sulipca, as you already knew, Caius' is Athenodora, and Marcus' is Didyme, she is dead, none of the wives have special abilities, Didyme did."
I listened intently, this was all very interesting. "Now, for our guard," he smiled, " Afton, has mental invisibility, Alec, has sensory deception, Chelsea has relationship deception, which you will be bound to me and Alec by her,once we get to Italia. Corin, addictive contentment, Demetri, sensory location, a hunter you could say. Heidi has physical attraction, she is the one who goes out and gets our meals by leading 'tour groups', Jane gives and illusion of pain," Jane smirked, feeling proud, "Renata has a protective shield, and Felix and Santiago, have increased strength for vampires."
"Wow, what an interesting family," I said truly surprised.
"You aren't afraid," blurted Jane.
I shook my head, "No."
"Then we must leave at once," smiled Aro.
