Will pov: I was calling people frantically in hopes that they had seen Nico. I knew his capacity to run, and I really hope he didn't go to far. My mom sat on the couch feeding Lou. "Honestly I don't think it was very responsible of you to keep a stranger in this house for three months," she chided.
"Nico isn't dangerous," I muttered only half paying attention. "And I think I should buy him a phone even if he does have my number by memory."
My mother sighed. "You're overreacting over a stranger," she sighed again. "He's gone he's gone, we can continue with life."
My shoulders slumped. I let go of the keyboard. What if I didn't want to continue life as before? I wanted Nico back, but I silently nodded. She smiled and wheeled to the kitchen. "Plus it's not like you guys were dating, I raised you way too well for that to ever become reality."
"Yeah," I mumbled. I don't think my mom would ever understand what kind of relationship me and Nico had. I didn't want to disappoint her either. I'm not who she thinks I am, and she can't find out.
I needed to keep the image. "Mom! It's your first day back, put one wheel into that kitchen I'll assume the doctors messed up your brain to the extent of insanity." I let out my winning smile.
Mom brushed her bangs out of her eyes, and smiled. "Fine but I bet you can't even make cheese macaroni with out burning down the house."
I fake glared at her. "Try me." The air considerably lightened up, but I still felt like something was missing.
Nico pov.
I sat in the back of a Mercedes staying as silent as possible. Every atom of my body was screaming at me to jump out of the car and run away. But I was tired and I didn't think I would get very far. As much as I hated this situation, maybe I could borrow a phone or something? "Hey, could I borrow your phone?" I mumbled, hiding my face in my hands."Whatever once I get home." I went back to silent mode, until he said something again. "Aren't you that famous artist who ran away from your accident?" I jolted in surprise.
"What are you talking about?"
"He ran away in front of the cameras and he had your hair and skin color. And he's been missing for three months. The reward for finding him is a 6 sum." I could see his eyes in the mirror and shivered. They had a cold and evil glint to them. "I have been scouting the entire area for all of three months. I've hired top spies for clues. I will find him some time soon," he cackled.
I shifted a little farther away from him. "What do you plan to do?"
"Why do you have to know?" He countered.
I had absolutely no answer but now there's no way in hell I would be trusting this guy.
"We're home!" He trilled as the car skid to a stop. I tentatively got out, and entered what looked like the most bizarre massacre in the history of earth. Teddybears with their heads ripped off and flannel littered the floor.
"Sorry I didn't have time to clean," Octavian said right behind me. I stiffened.
He began strolling around the room. "I read somewhere that reading flannel could help me find that kid artist."
"You probably read fiction that doesn't really exist," I muttered.
He came close to me, and I backed away. "I wouldn't be so sure of that," he whispered.
He pulled out a phone, tossed it and caught it with the same hand.
"You want to use this? Let's talk payment first."
"What? You said you wouldn't make me pay anything!" I shouted.
"Pay money," he corrected, inching closer to me. I was getting more and more scared by the second, and I tensed, in case I would need to protect myself.
"You look young you must be a virgin right?"
