Chapter 4: Wanna Come Over?

As closing time arrived Kevin smiled and closed the door as their last customer left, "Have a good evening ma'am," he said politely as he turned the sign to the closed side. He gave a yawn as he checked the time seeing that it was now 5 pm. Destiny smiled before she grabbed a broom from the supply closet and began to clean up the floor while Kevin wiped off the tables, "So how'd you like your first day?" He asked with a hopeful tone earning a smile from Destiny, "It was great, thanks for helping me out earlier," she said smiling. Kevin smiled at hearing her answer, "You're welcome, by the way would you maybe like a ride home?" He asked politely. Destiny smiled and shook her head, "That's alright, I drove here but thank you for the offer. If you'd like to maybe come over though that'd be great?" Destiny asked him as she finished cleaning up and put the broom away. Kevin pretended to think before laughing and nodding, "Sure, that sounds nice. I'll follow behind you then," he said smiling as he put the rag away that he'd been using to wipe off the table tops. He walked over to Destiny before stopping in front of her and timidly reached around her waist. Destiny had a bright pink blush dust her cheeks as she felt his hands at her lower back, when she went to speak up and ask him what he was doing Kevin pulled away from her with a smile. Destiny gave a shy smile to him, "T-thanks Kevin," she said with a slightly shy expression as she watched him walk over and put away his apron along with the one he'd just taken off of Destiny. "You're welcome Destiny," he said smiling "Alright you two lovebirds," Jack called out as he started laughing as Kevin's and Destiny's faces erupted in a light blush. "Oh hush Jack," Kevin said quickly as he gestured Destiny towards the door for which she happily complied as they both left the café and headed towards their cars.
