[WARNING: MORE THEO DICK UP IN THIS BITCH]
"I'm not having sex with you behind the bleachers."
"Mm," Theo murmurs against my neck. "Are you sure, baby?"
"Yes, I'm sure," I sigh. "I'm not a fan of the whole exhibitionistic sex thing."
He cocks an eyebrow. "I could've sworn that the whole neighbourhood could hear —"
"Okay, okay," I say, holding up my hands. "I get it. But still. After all, don't you have a true alpha to stalk or something?"
He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me to him. "We'll put it on a rain-check," he says, giving me a peck on the lips. "Come on, now. I need my partner in crime to do this thing right."
He puts a hand in mine and intertwines our fingers while I feel a love drunk feeling take hold of me. "You really didn't have to hold a gun to my head, y'know."
He cocks his head to the side. "Did you not take me for the kinky type? I mean, seriously?"
"I'm being serious, Theo."
He stops and turns to me, cupping my face in his hand. "You know no one else would've had the same effect. It wasn't easy to do, Arden, but it was the only thing we could do."
I chew on my lip, grinning. "Forget about Leonardo DiCaprio. It's about time that Theo Raeken got an Oscar for his acting skills."
"We should go find Scott and Stiles," he says, grinning. "Mostly so I can showcase my talents again."
We find Scott and Stiles in the library. "What are you doing here?" Stiles demands, narrowing his eyes at Theo.
"I still need to graduate," Theo says, shrugging.
"No," Stiles says. "No. What you need is to be beaten severely with a led pipe wrapped in barbed wire—"
"Okay," he says. "I admit mistakes were made."
"Murders," Stiles says. "Some murders were made."
"Do you know how the Soviets helped us win World War II?" Theo asks. "They knew how to survive a Russian winter."
"That it? Thank you, Theo," Stiles says, his voice thick with sarcasm. "Very informative."
He makes a start away, but Theo halts him when he speaks. "If you're planning on breaking Lydia out of Eichen House, you still need to get past the mountain ash."
"We can make it through," Scott says.
"You can't," Theo refuses.
"What do you really want, Theo?" Stiles demands.
"I know you saw the fresco. Two seriously pissed off creatures, the Hellhound and the Beast, fighting over a pile of dead bodies. I don't want to be one of the bodies. It's that simple. I can get you to Lydia." Theo huffs out a small laugh. "Or we can see who gets to her first."
After the encounter with Scott and Stiles, I make a point of bringing Lydia up later on. "Do you actually care about Lydia getting out?" I ask gingerly, drumming my fingers on the table in front of me anxiously.
"What do you think, Arden?" he asks. "I want a hellhound, not a banshee."
"Lydia is my friend. You hurt her last time — you're not hurting her this time."
"Arden," he says bluntly. "She probably won't even talk to you once she gets out."
I straighten up. "You don't know that."
