Stalked Like Prey

The First Chapter

It was a nice sunny day in Miami, the wind was blowing, the children were playing and it was just a perfect day to go surfing right? Well no, that was the day my life was ruined. I was tanning on the beach with my best friends Katherine and Kayla.

"We need to find you a guy Spencer. It's been like forever since you and Liam broke up." Kayla said while looking around for 'hot guys'.

"Shut up Kayla! It's been three weeks. Let her enjoy being single, I sure as hell do." Katherine argued.

They do this all the time one person says something the other says another, that's always how the argument starts. I've always wanted a twin sister and these two both wish they were only children.

I mean seriously twins can switch places, and confuse people they can even go to each other's classes! I would be living the dream.

"Guys, guys calm down. Katherine, I think Kayla is right I should put my self back on the market." I told them.

"See, I told you!" Kayla said while sticking her tongue out. Katherine just flicked her off and rolled over on her stomach to tan her back.

"Okay how about," She paused and looked around the beach. "Him!?" Kayla said pointing to guy playing volleyball. He was about 5'10 ft with brown hair and brown eyes and a perfect tan, but he didn't really catch my attention. I turned back to Kayla and shook my head. Next she pointed to a curly haired nerd sitting in a corner. I looked at her with a curious expression. Was she serious?

"Kayla Anne Montgomery! You know I don't go for nerds." I told her. Sometimes, I wonder if things really do go in one ear and out the other.

"But, look at him! He looks so nice and innocent." She was to busy checking out the nerd to notice I was glaring daggers at her. Not every innocent looking guy really is 'innocent'. She knows that.

"Okay, I get it you like the thrill! Whoo-hoo." She said while rolling her eyes.

This went on for about 30 minutes and none of them had that special 'thing' Katherine had already fell asleep and I could tell Kayla was getting bored.

"One more okay Spencer? We can look for more guys when we go to the mall tomorrow." Kayla told me. I nodded waiting for her to choose. I saw her turn her attention to the back of a guy's head.

"Hey, look! He looks good." She said while pointing towards the guy.

"Yeah, from the back." I told her, laughing.

"Whatever, just wait until he turns around I swear he is cutie." she told me then turned her attention back to the guy. When I turned back around to look at him I almost fainted. He wasn't just cute, he was HOT and 'he' was my old best friend Caleb Gray. Kayla noticed my surprised expression and said

"Ok, Spencer I know he is cute but, come on! No need to drool!" She started packing up all of our stuff.

I finally got over my shock and ran towards him then jumped on his back to greet him.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?" Was all I heard until everything went dark.
