After a few slices of pizza, okay maybe 6, courtesy of mother and father's money lying on the counter, I trailed myself upstairs to try and get some work done so I could possibly have tonight and the better part of Saturday free.

I look at my phone at the time '18:17' meaning my brother should be well into his date now, isn't that sad? Not about him dating, but how my 15 year old brother has a far better social life than me. I wouldn't admit that in front of him though, but it's true! Here I am, sitting at the age of 18, by myself, doing homework, on a Friday night. Wow I'm sad.

I sigh and grab my school bag up on to my lap and pull out any books that I may need, including my maths books which weigh a ton. Stupid textbooks. Haven't they heard of IPads?! I grab a pencil out of my pencil case just about to start, when I hear my phone pinging meaning I've a new text.
I hit the lock button and see that Niall has texted me privately,

Hey, have you started maths yet?x

"Ellen Hastings🍕"
Lmao are you serious?

"Niall Horan🍻"
??

"Ellen Hastings🍕"
Give me time, literally only starting! Why you in such a rush to get it anyway?

Well some of us have a social life to obtain over the weekend and I would like to get it done

Fine. Hmm.. Like I could've thought of a few more... Let's say 'less idiotic' names, but hey I'm not the one who created it!

I laughed and put my phone down, don't you just love it when people just use you when they need something and never acknowledge you any other time! Gosh I love it... I rolled my eyes, ending my train of thought and got back to the ever so beautiful world of math.

Sorry I haven't updated in like 2 months, school has just been hectic!
