It's been almost two months since the whole TTD thing. (Author's Note: This is up to date. It's after Season 4.) Emma's and Andi's friendship had grown stronger. Daniel is still gone with Mia. Diego's and Maddie's relationship had grown stronger. They are still hanging out at the 7. And that is where this chapter begins.
"Hey, Em. I saw this new toolbox at the new shop down the street." Andi said. "Let me guess, you want me to go with you?" Emma asked.
"No, I'm going with Diego. I was wondering if you could distract my mom." Andi replied. Emma sighed and turned to look at her best friend. "Freezing or distracting spell?" Emma asked. Andi thanked Emma and said, "Obviously, freezing!" Maddie struggled to keep the trays on her hands. Diego raced past her and served Andi and Emma. "Doing great, Madds." Diego said as he gave a thumbs up.
"Thanks, Proxy. However, when I asked to help, I was hoping for a more simple job." Maddie said. "I'm sorry, Maddie. Ever since the restaurant been booming with business, we need all the help we can get." Diego explained as he started blending some fruit. "Are you sure I can't use magic?" Maddie complained but Diego gave her a look. "What if it was a magic show?" Maddie continued and Diego sighed. "Tony did those a while back. It didn't turn out well." Diego responded as he poured the smoothie into cups. Jax came from the back door all dressed up like a chef. Andi laughed and said, "Who are you now? Chef Lame-O?" Emma gave Andi a look and kissed Jax. "How was cooking pizzas today?" Emma asked. Jax responded, "Good," and winked. As Jax headed on back to the kitchen, Andi said to Emma, "You know he totally used magic, right?" Emma nodded and kept sipping her smoothie. After the 7 closed, Diego, Jax, Maddie, Katie, Sophie, Emma, and Andi enjoyed their smoothies at a big round table. A few minutes later, Maddie collapsed to the floor. Diego jumped up so quick and tipped over his smoothie. Everyone gathered around Maddie while Andi was trying to wipe up the spilled smoothie. "Does she have pulse?" Diego asked Katie and Katie nodded. Everyone was relieved, at least a little bit. "We have got to get Maddie back home." Emma said. With a snap, Emma, Jax, Diego, and the Panthers disappeared, leaving Andi to clean up the mess. Andi thought she said something glimmering in Maddie's chair but she shook her head and kept wiping.
