Soon everyone leaves the tree house and it's only you and Chris "so I'm your boyfriend now huh" asks Chris "ya you are and I'm lucky to be your girlfriend" I Say smiling "I'm your boyfriend and that means I have to protect you from everyone and everything" he says pulling me closer to him "I can take care of my self" I say trying to stand my ground "I know you can but I like the feeling of being able to let nothing  hurt you" all I do is smile and hide my face in his chest.  

I look out the window and see the sun is about to set "can you walk me home I need my big strong boyfriend to protect me from the monsters" I say teasing him a little "fine tease me now but when something happens and I save you I'll be the one teasing, and yes I'll walk you home. Chris opens the door and he climbs down first then I did "nice butt you got there Sky" I jump down and punch him in the arm "really Chris" I say looking at him "hey I'm only telling the truth, now come on we have to go". He takes your hand and we start walking down the hill.

When we get to the front of the diner we the Ace and Eyeball walk out "now look what we have hear Eyeball your brother and the Lachance girl" I grip onto Chris's hand tighter "no Christopher are you gonna introduce us to your girlfriend" I look at Chris and all he does is look down "her names Sky and she's my girlfriend so DON'T TOUCH HER" he yells at them. Then Ace pushes Chris onto the wall, I try to get him but his brother holds me back "let him go" I say trying to get out of eyeballs grip "LET HER GO" Chris yells at them, but they don't listen "now Chambers you listen hear you will never talk to us like that again or it will be your girlfriend who will get it instead of you" Ace sternly says to him. All Chris does is nod, then he's thrown onto the side walk hard. Eyeball lets me go and I run up to Chris and lean over him "Chris are you okay" you ask worried "ya I'm fine" he gets up and you stand up with him "now come on lets get you home before any off there other friends show up" I nod and we start walking again.

When we get to the front door of my house Chris stops me before I can walk in "can I get a goodbye kiss from my babygirl" he says acting all cocky "you know what will happen if my parents see" I say trying to convince him not to kiss me but of course he doesn't listen and he pulls my face to his and he kisses me. I kiss back without thinking twice but then the door opens and I get pulled away from him "what are you doing with me daughter" I look up and see it's my dad "oh....nothing just walking her home so she doesn't get hurt" Chris says to him "well I don't want her hanging around or kissing no thief" he says to Chris. With that I lost it "HES NOT A THIEF" I yell at him "watch your mouth young lady, he stole the milk money he's a thief in my books" he says tightening the grip on my arm "HE'S NOT A THIEF....HE'S...HE'S...HE'S" I stop talking when Chris looks at me with concern "he's what" my dad says to me "I'm nothing" Chris says before I can speak "stay out of this Chambers" my dad spits at him "HE'S MY BOYFRIEND" I yell "YOUR WHAT" my dad yells back at me. He throws me into the  house and tells Chris to leave.
