As I walked towards the front entrance of the school, I saw a white Jeep pull up out the corner of my eye and my jaw drops as seven people gracefully climb from the vehicle. They were flawless in every aspect, six of them with blemish free white skin that seemed to imitate marble, smooth and yet a subtle hardness was apparent, the other one looked younger, her skin a cream colour with a few freckles here and there and auburn hair that seemed to cascade perfectly down past her shoulders. I felt a twinge of envy, everything about these mysterious people were perfect, even their outfits seemed to match their beauty, I tugged at my clothes a bit, sudden waves of insecurity flooding my body as I recalled the black and blue state I had witnessed it in, in the mirror this morning. I saw one of the objects of my insecurities turn his head towards me, cocking his head to the side almost as if he could understand what I was thinking, he was tall, with dark hair and honey eyes and he looked as if he was contemplating something before he shook his head and turned his eyes down towards a girl with similar brown hair next to him and whispers something to her. This causes the girl to turn her head towards me, a almost pitying smile crosses her face and I cringe slightly at what she must be thinking. Eventually the others in the close knit group begin to look at me as they notice the female brunette staring and it honestly begins to annoy me, it felt almost like being a Guinea pig in a lab experiment and I'm just about to walk over and demand to know why they're all staring at me when I'm suddenly flung to the and I let out a harsh yelp.

I feel a familiar throb return to my body as the bruises that covered my body violently reacted towards being pressed into by the wet concrete,
"Ow what the hell!" I yell out as the pain begins to make me feel dizzy. I look up and am met with a face extremely close to mine, sliding backwards to put some space between us, I take a breath before surveying the person who had knocked me clean off my feet, and my breath caught in my throat. He was tall, his skin tan and smooth and seemed to be radiating heat, his eyes were a hazel brown and they bore holes into my own blue ones, he was gorgeous, his tight blue v-neck accentuating his muscles and his short stylishly shaggy brown hair seemed to fit perfectly with his image.
"Oh god, I am so so sorry, my Da-my uh brother and I were just mucking around and we didn't see you" he rambles on and I only seem to half hear him as my eyes are glued to his, suddenly another male, similar looking reaches down and grabs my arm and helps haul me up off the ground and the dizzy feeling returns but I quickly shake it off.
Chuckling the other guy speaks up "I'm sorry about him, he tends to ramble when he knows he's caused trouble, I'm Jacob Black and that mess over there is my brother Corbin," I glance quickly over at the reason for the dazed look in my eyes before glancing back at Jacob "we're actually here with the Cullen's, I'm dating one of them..Renesmee, she's really friendly so you'll probably meet her at some point" he says as he points to the group who were previously on my mind,
"Anyway we better go, gotta meet up with our friends before school starts" and with that he grabs a distraught looking Corbin's arm and drags him towards the now not totally nameless, Cullen's.

Sighing I recollect myself before heading into the school with renewed vigour, as I walk into the campus grounds I immediately look around for the administration, suddenly feeling overwhelmed by this foreign place,
"You look like you could use some help" I hear and I look next to me to see a girl with green eyes and a sweet smile, she seemed nice, her hair dark and long and she was average in stature, "I'm not going to bite you know" she says bringing me out of my inner monologue, I smile at her in apology,
"Sorry I was lost in thought, I'm actually kind of looking for the head office" I tell her and her smile widens
"Oh well that's easy, follow me, I'm Jade by the way" I follow her as we begin to trek through the halls, looking at the lockers and the Lino covered floors "I'm Scarlette" I reciprocate and I relax as Jade and I exchange light conversation, I liked her, she was fiery, full of energy and easy to talk to.

When we make it to the office, Jade leaves to go to her locker and I walk through the door hesitantly, inside I see a small section of glass cubicles, like a bank set up and walk towards the desk where a lady in her late 40's is sitting, typing away diligently, "Um excuse me? I was told I was supposed to come here, I'm new?" I say my brows furrowing as she merely asks for my name before slapping down a packet of information in front of me without looking up from her computer. With a mumbled thanks I pull out my timetable and locker number before I walk out of the office and begin the search for the locker that would be mine, after surveying row after row of lockers, I finally find my own, surrounded by bustling teenage cliches; the jocks and the bimbos. After shoulder checking at least three people out of the way, I practically tare open my locker door and throw my things inside, particularly agitated by the lack of consideration shown by my peers. The bell rings and everyone scatters away, making their way to their own places before going to home room, I fumble around for a bit before I manage to find my timetable and it tells me that I have Calculus, great, grabbing the books that I needed, I shut my locker and make my way toward my home group. Once I found my designated room I took a deep breath before opening the door and taking in all those in the classroom.
