Unexpected MATCHES

Chapter 4: Connection

Soohyun's POV

I searched for mister Min because I want to thank him for saving our maknae. Although that didn't succeed. I can't find him anywhere I go. I already searched the whole building just to say thank you. But I can't see him. (Maybe he's too white?//slapped)

So, instead, I just went to the canteen to buy breakfast since it's just 7:30 in the morning. Although I was surprised to see Hwajae eating with a guy.

I never saw this guy before. Is he her boyfriend...? Nah... That girl don't have any knowledge about love.

I just bought a clubhouse sandwich and decided to ruin the beautiful date Hwajae have...

But a man suddenly steps in and stole my GRAND ENTRANCE.

A man sat to the table with the guy Hwajae's with, so instead, I just approached them casually and sat beside Hwajae as she smiled sheepishly and bowed a little.

"Who is she/he?" I and the man from earlier asked as we looked at each other and I felt a little annoyance from him.

"She's/He's our eldest member." Hwajae and the guy said

I just looked at him as he gazed at me. I slightly felt electricity flow through my veins but I decided to shrug it off and asked him instead.

"What's you name mister?" I asked him as he looked at the other direction and gazed at the people ordering

"Seokjin. Kim Seokjin." he said as I nodded

"Are you their leader?" I asked him as he shook his head

"Ohh..." I said as awkward silence occurred

Before long, Hwajae and the guy she's with cleared their throats, gaining my and Jin's attention

"Eonnie, this is Park Jimin.. He's a new friend from the company." Hwajae said as I nodded my head and smiled at him as I shook hands with him.

He smiled as he shook hands with me. As I noticed his facial features

"Jimin,you should take care of your face. You're quiet handsome." I said as I felt Jin's gaze turn to me

"Don't worry. I'm watching our every member with attentiveness since I'm the oldest. No need to remind him." Jin said as I locked eyes with him, annoyance clearly visible on our eyes.

A few minutes came as I saw that he's not really going to back down, I just lowered my gaze and started eating

"Hah! I won. You're the first one to remove your stare." he proudly said as I just rolled my eyes on him and continued eating

"Hey, hyung, this is Hwajae. They're the new trainees here." Jimin explained as Jin nodded and shook hands with Hwajae.

"Wow...You're quiet beautiful... Take care of your body since you're pretty.." Jin said as I glared at him

"I'm watching my every teammates well enough for them not to slack off and ruin their help. No need to remind them, so back off." I said as I slapped his hands off Hwajae's as the juniors sweatdropped.

"You two just said the same thing.." they shook their head as we turned our gazes into the both of them

"Did you just said something, Jimin/ Hwajae?" we both asked as we realized we said the same thing over again.

We glared each other one more time as we looked at the opposite direction and continued eating our breakfast, while the juniors silently chuckled at our childish actions.

It's already midnight but I can't sleep...I think I'm a little energetic than the other members...

I just slipped my slippers on and walked to the rooftop of the building.

I silently opened the door and went to the edge of the railings and looked at the lights from the city...

Unknown's POV

I was on the rooftop, looking at the stars when I heard the door open...I was on a higher place of the rooftop, where I can see the lower part of the rooftop as clear as the sky.

I just watched there as I saw the annoying girl from the canteen earlier came and leaned on the railing, while a small smile stayed on her lips, as she watched the City Lights from the rooftop.

I can see that she's enjoying herself just right when I saw her yawn. She suddenly sat on the bench and I think she slept since she didn't move after that...

I silently climbed down the small stairs and approached the asleep girl on the bench.

I looked at her facial features and saw that she's also beautiful, but stress and tiredness is present on her face.

I just shook my head and slightly smiling as I took my phone and captured her picture.

I smiled with victory when I saw that I captured 4 pictures with different angles. I just smiled and carried her in my arms as I felt an odd feeling on the pit of my stomach and I also felt faint electric currents flowing throughout my body for a second before I shook my head and started to walk towards their room

I thought that she's heavy because of her slightly chubby cheeks but, she's actually pretty light. Actually VERY light.

I just observed her features while waiting for the elevator to open up...

I just stood there, smiling like an idiot while observing a stranger... I look like a creepy stranger I know but my body tells me that I'm doing something right.

And when the elevator opened up, I saw few trainees but I didn't care. I just went inside, with Soohyun in my arms, soundly asleep.

A few more steps and I reached the front desk. I asked the lady nicely to put her to their room which she quickly complied. And I also asked her that she should keep it to herself that I'm the one who carried her all the way here.

I carefully transferred Soohyun into the guard's arms.

"Take care of her understood?" I made myself clear and the guard nodded as I watched the guard's retreating form until it's nowhere to be seen.

I don't know but I feel something strange ever since I saw Soohyun...it seems like someone or something is binding us together...but either way, i wanna know what that reason is. Because I think I'm smitten with her. And now, i can't do anything but to think of her...
