This was my entry to a writing contest on Wattpad. Although the contest has already ended, I decided to keep it online for a little while - despite the fact that I wrote it quite hastily, which means it isn't my best work.
DEDICATION
To my best friend and, when writing contests come into play, my beta. You deserve way more than a shitty one-shot dedicated to you. But I could probably wax poetically about the link between Ad-Lib - the first story I published on the Internet - and you - the first friend I made on the internet.
(Then again, I could also probably compare the quality of this to that your jokes.)
I know you're never going to read this. Yet if you somehow happen to: you deserve so much more than you're given. I promise. We constantly talk about the old glory days, back when we were two stupid kids on the Internet, but I am convinced we have so many more laying ahead of us, as two stupid teenagers on the Internet.
Someday we'll meet and I'll give you the muffin I promised you, once.
