Sarah's POV:

It was harder after the murders. Aurors were hired for the protection of the students. They were stationed everywhere. The worst for me was that there was no time for bullying the little Hufflepuffs without being watched by the "protectors".

Of course, it was difficult for me and Draco to get to the Room of Requirement unnoticed. Hannah never came to help us, and Draco got the hint. I will still feel bad for her, even after these dark times.

We were getting close to finishing the job. From our sources, you can travel to Borgin and Burke's and survive, but on your way back you would die. It was only a matter of time before it was done.

Harry Potter was being a kiss-up to Dumbledore, but now he decides to add Slughorn to his list. Is he really that desperate. Slughorn is almost as bad a Lockhart was. The Slug Club. What a bad excuse for a the teacher's favorite.

I was think this as I was walking down the hall towards Transfiguration. The corridor was nearly empty, being as I had to walk from the dungeons to the third floor.

"Sarah!" A voice from behind me called. I turned.

Proffesor Slughorn himself.

"Sarah. I'm glad I caught up with you. I was wondering if you would like to attend the dinner party I'm having this Friday night. Of course, you will need to dress appropriatly..." he mumbled some other words that I didn't hear.

"Friday! You know the place!" With that, he walked off.

No I did not know the place. I hope it isn't higher than the third floor...

"You are late for class, Miss Dirdel," McGonagall's strict voice said to me as I walked into class.

"Really, I had no idea," I mumbled under my breath. A few Slytherins nearby snickered and I smirked at them.

We ended up being assigned a eight inch paper on why you can't make food appear from thin air and that you needed to change an inanimate object into the food to eat it. The class groaned and exited the classroom.

I walked away somewhat depressed about this homework when I felt a slight tap on my shoulder. I turned staring straight ahead expecting to see someone my height. No one was there.

"Down here, Sarah." I looked down to see a short first year in the Slytherin robes.

"Umm..." the little boy seemed nervous. What a cutie. I admit my soft spot for little Slytherin kiddies. Pointing to a random kid (who was wearing... yellow? robes) the boy said, "My friend over there would like to know if you would ever consider going out with a first year." It was obvious this kid was talking about himself, but I decided not to call him out on it.

"Well," I said bending over a bit so I was closer to his height, "I would definitly consider it, but I have a boyfriend right now. Maybe when your friend is a little taller and I'm single..." How else was I supposed to respond? He said an excited okay and went to go to his next class.

"Oh, kid! Remember that Slytherins stay with Slytherin only, with a few exeptions." I added the last part thinking about Hannah and Seamus.

The kid nodded and gave me a thumbs up. I just smirked and walked to my next class.

~~~~~~~Friday~~~~~~~~
I was putting on the same dress I wore for the first Death Eater meeting for the dinner party. My hair was tied up in a bun on top of my head with a few curled strands hanging down. I put on my favorite silver hoop earrings and black heels.
Thankfully, Blaise knew what "the place" was so I just followed him to Slughorn's office. We were some of the last few seated. I immidiatly noted that Potter and Mudblood were here. Food was okay. There was a lot of talking. The mudblood's parents were "destints." That's the one thing I learned before zoning out.
"So Sarah, what do your parents do?" I nearly choked on my ravioli. Everyone was looking at me. I sat up straight and swallowed.
"My mother works at the ministry. My dad died when Harry here became the boy who lived. Yea, Bellatrix tortured him." I didn't know how to say my dad wasn't Voldemort after my little "Harry" mistake so I lied.
It was silent.
"Um. Okay! How's your uncle McLaggen?" Slughorn moved the subject to some braggy Gryffindor that didn't make the team against the Weasley. He was sort of hot, it was just his attitude though.
What am I talking about? HE'S A GRYFFINDOR?!?!
"That belongs in Slytherin..." the voice in the back of my head bothered me.
NO!!! I WILL NOT DATE A GRYFFINDOR!!!! POTTER DOESNT COUNT!!!!
My voice shut up after that.
Heads turned towards the door. The Weaslette? Really? Is she worth turning heads for?
Potter stood up. Oooo! Looks like someone has a teensy weensy crush!
Whatever.
After the party, I went to the common room, got in my favorite pajamas, and went to sleep.
