Another drink. Ichi was trying to drown his feelings; it wasn't working too well.

"Ichimatsu-niisan!" A familiar voice called his name, yet he remained unmoving. The owner of the voice took the seat next to him.

"He's been drinking non-stop. Won't even talk to me." Chibita, the one serving the drinks, told the newly seated.

Ichi looked to the side only to recognize the person next to him was none other than his brother, Jyushimatsu.

Jyushi bent over slightly to where Ichi rested his head on his arms. More drunk than Jyushimatsu had ever seen him before, he gave a disoriented look to the sober boy. Jyushi returned a sad look, wishing he could just make Ichi happy again.

"Are you really this upset, Niisan? I can talk to Kara for you." Jyushi spoke as he draped an arm over his brother.

"Eh, mmm dunno... If yah wanna," Ichi slurred out. "S'all the same tah me." He downed another drink.

"Oh, Ichi..." Jyushi watched his drunken brother sympathetically. "Please come home now."

"Nah, not yet..." He lifted his head from his folded arms, putting himself in a slouched sitting position.

"Chibita, no more drinks, please!" Jyushimatsu was determined to stop his brother from this drinking; it was too much.

Ichi sat with his arms extended as if reaching for more alcohol. He remained in this position for twenty minutes before his body gave out. A sleeping Ichimatsu was left next to his patient brother.

"Thanks for putting up with him," said Jyushimatsu as he lifted the sleeping drunk onto his back. He dragged himself and his brother back to the house. "You're so problematic, Niisan."
