The next morning, Ichimatsu was hung over. While he was the first asleep last night, he was the last one to wake up this morning. He was awakened by a sickening feeling, and could tell he wasn't going to make it without releasing his stomach contents.
Jyushimatsu was in the room with him when he woke up. The fifth son saw Ichi's reaction to the feeling of his hangover, and he immediately pulled his brother up and to the bathroom. They both knew it was bound to happen; Ichimatsu never drank such an abundance of alcoholic beverages just as he did last night. This rarity upset his body.
While Ichimatsu suffered through the drinking's aftermath, Karamatsu was down at the table discussing with Todomatsu the same thing he'd repeatedly talk about: Ichimatsu.
"I don't want to stay mad at him, but I really just don't want to be treated like that again..." Kara rested his head on the table, washed over with a feeling of disappointment. Everyone else at the table had consumed some sort of breakfast, but the second son remained yet to eat.
"Just do whatever you think will make you happiest!" Totty cheered as he finished breakfast. "But don't go messing things up even further."
"Do you think I should apologize? I mean, I don't think I need to because nothing was my fault."
Choromatsu chimed in, "It probably wouldn't hurt to apologize anyway. It might give Ichimatsu the courage to apologize as well."
"He kind of already did, but it was insincere," Kara explained, seeing as his brothers didn not know.
"Well, maybe you two could try again," Choro continued.
Osomatsu spoke up as well, "Yeah, there's no need for loving brothers to fight like this!"
"...I know, you're right." The boy in blue knew the tension between him and Ichi made the other sextuplets uncomfortable. "I guess I should-"
Just as Kara accepted the idea of resolving things with Ichimatsu, their overly happy brother bounded down the stairs. Except, he didn't look like his usual happy self.
"Bad news, Ichimatsu-Niisan isn't feeling well today," a discontented look claimed his usually bright and cheery face.
"What happened? Is he sick?" Totty enjoined.
"Ah, he was out drinking last night; he had a bit too much. Niisan should be just fine." Jyushimatsu gave a purely reassuring smile.
Is this because of me? I made him feel this bad? I should make things right, but that's his responsibility. If he wants to talk, he'll come to me... right? Karamatsu's thoughts became frantic. Questioning whether or not he was to blame; either way, he felt just awful.
