My family and I were at a restaurant and my mother had ordered a steak. It was described as having jalepeños. The lady taking our order asked if my mother wanted them on the side or directly on the steak, but she pronounced jalepeños as:
gel-lap-pen-nose. Like what!?
Goodness, does anyone else get annoyed by mispronounced words?
