I took the letter home and read it over at least 4 times. It puzzles me how such a disturbed person can have correct grammer and amazing writing. Ill admit I dont write the best but I thought my writing would be better.
The cool thing about this letter is it seems to tell a story about the girl's experiance there. I have a better sence of this girl and who she was. It painted a vision of what it might have been like. The letter simply read:
" Dear mother,
There is nothing wrong with me. Why did you send me here? I am normal, im happy. I want to come home now. I am much better, will you pay for my return? Do you even miss me! What sick person would trap their child in this hell! You call me sick! A MONSTER! Your the monster! I tell you it was father who laid a hand on her! You made me this way. Did you even love me? Why did you create my existence just to let me suffer! YOUR CRUEL! Dont pay for my freedom.
Im getting my lobotomy done tomorrow. You know why? DO YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHY! Because you thought DEPPRESSION IS WRONG! I didnt lie, im not lying.
I HATE YOU!
Sincerely,
26Talk about creepy, everytime I read this letter I get the chills for this girls hate to her mother. I knew asylums were bad but damn! Im glad I decided not to go back. I dont want to be somewhere im not wanted. Besides upseting her might make her anger worse considering she must not have been put to rest.
I decided to do some research on '26' since the letter didnt exactly help any. My usumption is she was betrayed at a young age to where she didnt learn her name and was called 26. Im unsure who her is though. It states her father did something to 'her' and it wasn't 26.
If I were that mother, I would have beleaved 26. Its unproper of me to call this girl 26 but her name is unknown. I dont even think about calling 26 a she or her. Is it how my brain works with society it isn't fair.
The reasearch brought up an article about the old asylum and it's patients. The article read:
Old Mill Asylum. Bult in 1843 and closed in 1996. The last generation had the worst treatments. Those who were paid out were lucky. Others were less fortunate.
It gave me an option to search up a patient from there.
Obviously I searched 26.Not much showed up but what I did read, was a good 2 pages.
Name: Essie Hatchetson
Age: 14
Birthday: irrelivant
Years in institution: age 6- 14Death cause-
There it was her description. On it was of course her death cause. So I read it.
Death cause- overdose on prescription.
This girl seemed to be very intelligant so I decided to read on more.
Institutionized for- unknown
The words lied blankley on my screen. Unknown. The letter said she was deppressed. Maybe there was a mistake.
You may contact her spirit and interact with her if you are given her letter. This means she wants to get to know you or if your a boy, she likes you. If you ignore her she will find you and lets say you will sence her essence or presents.
So much for not going back. Besides I have her letter she might have wanted it back. This article could have lied. For anything I would go back to return her letter. It is rightfully hers. I shouldnt of taken it.
As much as I despised the thought of returning it seemed I would have to. If this article is right im in for it.
