The Long Road Ahead

Chapter 22

Elizabeth's POV:
"Um.....Hi I'm Malorie." Everyone in the room looked at each other. "Oh uh Hel-" I was cut off by a ear piercing scream. The girl Malorie looked absolutely terrified. "Well I'm May... This is Elizabeth but you can call her Lizzy.." She said pointing at me. "I'm Kristine..." Kristine said jumping off of the last few steps of the stairs. We basically did this until we were all introduced. Paulina put foe the food at the table. We all went to sit down except Kristine and the new girl... Malorie I think it was. "You can have my seat I have to rest anyway." Kristine said smiling at Malorie and walked back upstairs. She awkwardly came and sat next to me in Kristine's chair. "So what were you doing before you came here?" I asked. She just looked up "I was with my friend Josie.." She trailed off. I heard banging on the door and scratching. Ugh why did this even happen? How did it happen? I was cut out of my thoughts as Phil got up from his seat to do the dishes with Raven and Paulina. When I looked around mostly everyone was done eating so I quickly finished my food and ran upstairs into my room.

Kristine's POV:
I was laying down in the bed when Raven walked in. "Hey.." I said. "JESUS CHRIST!" She yelled as she jumped back. I chuckled at her reaction. "Why are you up anyway?" She asked. I didn't really know how to explain like how do you say 'You don't want to live in a world like this anymore and that you were thinking about leaving the guys behind' "Uh I'm just fed up that's it.." I answered. I turned to lie on my back and look at the ceiling. "Well I'll bring you some water.., I'll be right back." She said leaving. Right after she left I stood up. I walked toward the window and saw a beautiful night sky.

I heard the door open so I turned around and saw Raven walk in with Dan and Phil. I smiled at them and took the water from Raven. Right after I got the water Raven walked out. "Hey guys." I said still looking at the sky. "Wow!!" Phil said coming next to me. Dan stood next to Phil as all of us watched the sky. "Well we just came to say goodnight.." Phil said hugging me and waiting for Dan. I hugged Dan and then they left. I looked back at the sky and sighed. We don't deserve this... I walked to my bed and laid down and I was fast asleep.

Samantha's POV:
We still haven't found them. Those 2 girls escaped us and that's all that took me to explode. "UGH!" I screamed throwing a vase at the wall. I was running around the streets looking for the 2 girls. That's when I saw them running to a house. I smirked walking toward them and then I saw a herd of zombies with them so I stopped to watch. Soon enough Josie got trampled by a bunch of them and got eaten alive. "Hmh.." I said amused by what was going on. I saw Malorie run into the house and then I heard talking. I slowly made my way to the window and saw everyone. Marisa ,May, Elizabeth,Dan,Phil, the list goes on and then Kristine came down the stairs. I watched as everyone scattered and Kristine went upstairs. I turned around and saw a few zombies looking at me and started running over to me. Shit! I started running past the house and I climbed into a tree where I could see inside a room from. After a while I saw Kristine,Dan, and Phil looking at the night sky. Now I know which room Kristine's in I thought as I saw Dan and Phil leave and her lie down on the bed.  This is going to be fun.....
