Steampunk Contest entry

This is my entry for the steampunk contest by theotakunerd (love that name, because it describes my life)

This was a real challenge for me, who's never ever drawn a background.

At least i know, that i suck now.

Plus i'm proud to say, that i haven't used any references at all, so it's completely original.

I worked about 6-8 h on it. And i was really frustrated the whole time.

It's name is 2713-YLO It's a female cyborg/robot with cables as hair, some missing pieces (mouth, temple, neck) where you can see her unique technology. She has a wooden eye with a clock as iris. (She keeps an eye on the time, hahah (￣▽￣) )

Also she has a mechanical feather on her hat, which can fold out to a sword.

She lives in the start of the steampunk area, where there are still some middle age houses left, but behind them are large fabrics which pollute the environnement.

Is it okay? I mean i know, that it would've been better, if i'd added the body, but i just figured i could place more details, if i'd just do the head. There's a lot of work involved in this so i really hope for a decent score nevertheless ^^
