On my brothers 15th birthday which was just on the 8th of February. And my mom was talking about whenever she had been giving my brother and they said here and handed her my brother and a bottle, my mom was thinking, what? Am I sure I know how to do this because she had been waiting to addopt him and they just handed him to her. The hospital was really full and there wasn't much room for them so my mom went out to the waiting room with Raef. As my mom told this too me I realized it was like Jesus. They had been expecting a baby and they had gotten all ready for baby Jesus and then they got there and there was no room for them and so they staying in a barn. I just thought that this was so cool!! The beginning of my brothers life kind of sounds like the beginning of Jesus's life, but we all know that no one can get any were close to being like Jusus, I just thought that was really cool!! And what makes this even cooler is when my brother had brain surgery at the age of about 8 months, on the left hemisphere of his head. Then when my mom was waiting then one of the nurses had given her a baby name thing and she found the name Raef in it and then she found out that Raef meant God has healed. I just think that is so cool!!! My mom and dad were kind of scared about Raef, and weren't sure if he would live, the docters had said that he wouldn't be able to walk or talk or possibly not live. I bet he's thinking LOOK AT ME NOW DOCTERS. Because he's a healthy 15 year old who can walk and talk perfectly!! He does have a scare on his head from the brain sugery! Although he couldn't walk or talk till he was about 3 or 4 years old, and had to relearn how to eat 3 times, he's still healthy and the best brother any body could ask for!! People stare at us in public sometimes and sometimes it kind of makes me alittle mad because he's no different from you and your siblings, he's just a lot more loving and greatful for what he has even though he can only use one arm he doesn't let that get in his way. I still learn new things about my brother when he was a baby and I have to Thank God with all my heart because he gave me the best brother that anybody could ever have!!! I would never trade him for anything!!! He's the sweetest, and he loves me sooooooo much (even though I'm soooooooo obnoxious...) He doesn't care what other people think he goes on with his life!!!
