I couldn't snap back to reality. I was caught up in her clutches, holding on to this dream she had created for me.

"I'm tired now"

"So am I" I said.

we looked up at the star's together. the thought playing in my mind.

'like you'll stand a chance'

she managed to drown out my demons, with her being. her smile, her laugh- her. Or so I thought. I reality she was enhancing them, tantalizing, teasing them. Telling them what to do.

I could never admit up until this point that it was she that made me worse. I always blamed myself.

For how could a daydream, turn out to be a nightmare?
