Jace POV

Today is the day I finally get to meet Hannah's parents. I HAVE to make a great first impression. Cuz u know.

I take a shower, put on my plaid shirt, jeans, then socks OVER my jeans -apparently that's called "the Norman"- and vans

Its about 11:45 and I text Hannah letting her know I'm coming over.

Jace: hey I'm at ur front door
Hannah: kk

She opens the door I go in and I remove my vans.

"Wait... YOU'RE Hannah's boyfriend?" Her dad asks me

"Yes sir" I reply hoping nothing is wrong

"But aren't you that kid from Nickelodeon's Henry Danger?"

"That is correct."

"Wow ok um. Hannah that's pretty impressive. How'd you do that?" He asks Hannah

"Long story short there was a tweet saying he was gonna move to New York. I emailed him asking if it was true and it all developed from there." Hannah says

"That's actually pretty cool but we better get going."

Hannah POV

I grab my iPad and we get in the van. Jace and I sit in the way very back and I put on music.

"Whacha listenin to?" Jace asks

I put the earbud in his ear and he smiles. It's thinking out loud by Ed sheeran.

"You know this is one of my favorite songs right?"

I nod. He tries to run his fingers through his hair.

"You cut it, remember?" I say

"I know" he says looking sad

Small bump comes on.

"Nope. I'm not listening to this rn. Nope. Just nope." I say

"Why?" Jace asks

"It's like the saddest song of all eternity."

I skip the song and "don't" comes on

"Omg yes I love this song!!!" Jace says "I know this sounds weird but I made a hand gesture dance thing to go with it."

"Omg me too 😂" I reply

It starts and we do the dance. Ours were surprisingly similar.

Jace POV

"I'm kind of nervous. You don't know how many fans are going to be there" I tell Hannah

"Don't worry." She says "I'll be there for you, I won't let any fans bug you."

"I love you." I whisper

We get there. She hides her iPad using like this Fort Knox security method. We get out of the van and our fingers lock together.
