What was the point?
As Violet stood on the edge of a cliff, she stared at the crashing waves below.
What was the point?
She had suffered all the world could offer her from betrayal to rape, yet she could be taken down by three words alone.
What was the point?
She hadn't cried , he hadn't been defeated, she hadn't even flinched at the mention of her Pain.
Yet the moment the Doctor called her a stupid useless human she broke.
What was the point?
Slowly, she allowed her body too begin its swift descent to destruction.
" Violet!!!"
What was the point?
The Doctor felt incredibly guilty.
A few days ago the TARDIS had been hit by a plutonium cyclone blast from a cyberman battleship. He repaired it everything was fine.
But Violet accidentally broke a lever on the console and the TARDIS shut down and crash landed on a nearby planet.
The Doctor, in a fit of rage rounded on Violet and screamed an inexcusable insult at his companion. Violet ran, and the Doctor was left to examine the wreckage.
In the end, it had turned out the TARDIS had crash landed because of a broken circuit and the lever had just been a useless addition that was non important.
He fixed it, then turned around only to remember his words and her flight.
Running, the followed her trail to a cliff.
There she stood.
Then, he understood.
As her body slowly descended, he shouted with all his might the name of the person he knew he failed to save.
" Violet!!!!!"
