"Knock it off Noah!!" I growled at my 3 year old brother. I hate how he wakes me up by jumping on my bed every morning. Yeah yeah yeah, save it.. just because I'm 18 doesn't mean that I have to have an alarm clock right?
I'm a freshman in college. I'm studying to be a beautician, hair, facials (plucking, waxing, ect.), and nails. My bestie Sierra and I are going to school together, but you'l meet her later.
Anyways, I jump out of bed, grab a towel, and hop into the shower. When I get out, I change into A pink croptop that says "peace" and some yoga pants.
"TAYLOR!! BREAKFAST!!" my mom yells at me.
As I'm running down the stairs, I get to the 5th to last step when my sock catches on a carpet nail thats sticking up, and fall down the stairs falling on my face.
"Owwww" I moan. my little brother comes running to where I'm at to see me sprawled out on the floor.
"Hahahaha sissy! You looke like a umm.. umm.. you look like a.. ummmm.." He's at a loss of words.
"Star?" I say, finishing the sentence for him.
"Yeahh.. That's it... You look like a star sissy!" He squealed. "LOOK MOMMY!! Sissy looks liiiikee.. A STAR!!!"
"That's nice Noah." she cooed.
"Now Taylor, come on and eat your breakfast I made just for you.. It's your favorite.. Well.. Just kidding, any food is your favorite." She joked.
As I get up off the floor I slip and fall again "Shit" I mutter under my breath. "Mom!" I yell. "Yes dear?" she asks.
"I need to go to wall-mart after school today to go get a sketch book!" I all but scream so she can hear me.
"Fine!! But I need you back by 4:30!" she says.
"Mom!! You know I get out of school at 3:45?" I question.
"Oh, well then you need to get yourself out in time to be able to go to the store and be here by 4:30." she snaps at me.
"Uhm... Mom? You never snap at me? I didn't mean to do anything to upset you..." I say as I shovel a half of a pancake in my mouth
. "Sorry honey, I guess i'm just stressed." she says as she rubs her temples.
"About what?" By now, I have eaten 3 pancakes, 4 peices of bacon 2 eggs, and drank a cup of milk, and am putting my plate in the dishwasher.
I look at the time "Crap, mom, I gotta go or I'm going to be late." \
"Okay, tell your brother good bye." "NOAH-BEAR!!!" I yell at him.
"Yeah Tay-bear?" He asks.
I smile at my nickname and say, "I'm leaving baby."
"Oooohhh..." he says disappointedly as I pick him up and set him on my hip. "I love you though." I say.
"Wuv you."
"Buut I love you moooore!!" I defend
"No, I LOVE YOU MORE!"
"AND I LOVE YOU THE MOSTEST!!!" say loudly.
"NO I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK!!" he screams in my face.
"Okay, you win." I say putting him down.
"BYE GUYS!" I yell as I run out the door to my 2008, blue ford pickup.
As I get into my car my phone rings. I pick it up over blue tooth and pull out of the driveway, when I almost hit a cat. "DAMMIT" I yell.
"Hey, Taylor, "
"Yep" I say popping the "p".
"Did you do the drawing assginment we had to do last night?" Sierra asked
"No! Oh my god... Was it supposed to be??" i asked sighing.
"A monkey, " and before I could even ask she said, "and before you can even ask, it cant be an animated one.. It has to be real."
"Okay, well I'm at big bucks, so I'll do mine there." I say reaching over and grabbing my bag. out of the passenger seat.
"Okay, ill start mine right now too." she said and hung up the phone.
I walk over to go put my stuff at the table where I always sit at do do my drawings and read before school, but I stop and realize it was taken up by five guys.. Huh, that's weird. I'll go sit somewhere else. I turn around and find one table open and go sit at it. I open my sketch book to the next open page. I get half done, check the time and go up to the counter to order
. "One iced chi tea!" Mary yells at her worker.
"And a chocolate muffin." I add to my order. "So, you got plans for tonight Mary?"
"Actually, yes. Kevin finally asked me out to dinner!" she gushes
"Oh my gosh!!! He did?? When??" I asked.
"He did and two nights ago!! I would've gone last night, but I couldn't because it got robbed.. Thank god I had my makeup and I was wearing my fathers jacket and the jewelry he gave me for Christmas."
"What? Why wouldn't you call me if your house got robbed??" I calm myself down. "I miss your dad." I say just loud enough so she can hear me. Her dad pretty much took the place of my father after the accident...
"It's okay, I miss him too.. And here's your tea and muffin... That's $5"
I hand her the money.and take the tea and muffin. I go to walk to my table. I forgot that I'm sitting at a different table today. I ran into the back of this guy with blonde hair. I spilled my tea all over his back and all down my the front of my pants! He squealed. "OH MY GOSH!!! THAT'S COLD!"
