My fingers tremble and face grows cold
As my emotions refuse to fold
I stand daunted upon the edge
Looking down below the ledge.I see a blur of brown and green
A sight many must have seen
My tears cloud my misty sight
I am taken over by the fright. The thoughts that once did cloud my mind
Return though they were left behind
In my mind they rage,
Upon my emotions war they wage .I remember the times when all was good
When joy abounded at our table of wood
The things he said and punches he laid
Into my blur of thoughts they fade.I pull back tears and take a breath
Preparing for my impending death
The path to solace is to steep
Is what I think as I take the leap.Gaurav Khatri
