rosies POV

i wake up. its dark... are my eyes even open? i get up, i think. i start to see if i can feel a wall or if im lucky, a door.

after a long time of stumbling around with my arms in the air my imagination gets in the way of my search. i keep thinking of what might be there, it did say it was a horror game. what if i am stuck in a black void until i die. 

my heart starts to race and my hands shake. then a voice appears.

 of course he is watching."HA! you look like a idiot running like that. oh my god... your thoughts just get you farther away from what you are supposed to be doing." gamemaker blurts out.

"what am i supposed to do then!?" i ask. "why would i tell you? it takes away the fun!"

i just want this to be over. i do the only thing i know how to get info out of a stubborn boy who is interested in you. i fall to my knees, wrap my arm around my ribs making my chest look larger. and make tears come down my face. thank you acting skills.

"what are you doing, wha, do-sp-stop it!" i keep up the act laying on the ground now and curling my knees into my chest. my free hand grabs my head to give the act more realism.

"okay okay i will tell you! just stop crying. huuuuuuuu...." i sit up and wipe my nose. it worked."this is the fearscape. i see what your afraid of and make it a part of this room. the dark is a fear of yours am i not mistaking? so you need to calm down  and embrace the darkness then will you find the light. got it?"

i then with a deep breath lay on the ground and close my eyes. i tell myself the darkness is not there. after a couple seconds i felt a light breeze. i open my eyes welcomed by the warmth of the summer sun.

 i'm in a tree above a woman reading. it must be alice's-er-MY sister. i climb down and see what she is reading."alice, don't bother my studies. now go play."

i go in a different direction. i see a rose garden. i go in. there are different sections of colors and wonderful aromas. i see one in particular. its bigger than the others and blue. it has a little calipidder on it. i grab the stem to pick it and my finger gets cut on the thorns.

i look at the blood and then rub it on my dress. i look up and turn to leave and explore more. i walk forward and i get lightheaded. i get a glimpse of a gory version of the garden.

 the roses are covered in blood and the smell of rotting bodies in the wind. a arm is sticking out from under the bushes and in the center of the walkway was a tall slender rabbit with gruesome claws and fur ruffled and distorted. its head was ticking back and forth in a fast motion and a long bony finger was pointing to a pocket watch that looks like it was dipped in blood.

i was takin back by the seen and almost tripped and feel over. i ran out of the garden and over to a stream. i sat in the long untrimmed grass calming myself down. i felt like i was in another world entirely.

i look into the little creek at my reflection. i look adorable... except for the rabbits reflection standing over me. i gasp and look behind me. he is there and was holding a severed arm in his claw making it point to the clock. 

i stumble to the right and walk backward as he slowly followed me letting out a low "yooooooooooou're laaaaaaaaaaaaaate alice." i keep backing up my eyes glued to his terrifying figure. my back hits a tree. he drops the clock and arm and charges toward me swinging his claws at me. i think fast and take out my gun shooting him in the shoulder then the neck. his body limply falls to the ground and i take a deep breath.

i look at the creature that i killed. its head started to turn until its face was towards me."you're not late anymore... you completed level 1." 

right after he said that the ground beneath me hollowed out and i fell into the rabbit hole.
