Lestat stared at the car Jess had just entered. It was the same car she had entered the night before. Lestat got a strong wave of deja vu, just by looking at the blacked out windows. Yet again he effortlessly tried to read the driver's mind and Jess' mind. Yet again he also tried to see through the windows but they were still too dark, even in the sunlight. It was getting on Lestat's nerves that he couldn't find out more about this girl. But when he had given some thought into how he was going to find out more about her he realized that there was one way.

He would have to use some of his vampire charms but that was not a problem for him.

He walked right back inside the house and closed the door. He walked around the house investigating it carefully. Most of the furiture was very old fashioned except for the kitchen and bathroom.

Though, Lestat could'nt help but be curious about her taste in furniature, he was more bored. He wanted to do something else than stay inside the whole day and do nothing at all and so he decided to go out. Lestat tested the ring once moreby stepping to a window who's windows weren't drewn and stepped, slowly into the sunlight. He was doing this because he thought that maybe she was playing tricks on him or that he was maybe dreaming. After all that time spent in the dark, he was having a hard time believing that  it just took one simple thing to cure him from his 'allergies' from the sunlight, like medicine.

Lestat then headed downstairs and did'nt think there was any need for him to put on a coat even if it was a winter day in New Orleans. He headed for his right side and ran east towards the deaf sunlight that shone on the frozen earth so that it looked like diamonds.

Meanwhile, Jess was at her office, working some old cases and signing some papers. All of a sudden one of Jess' co-workers came into her office. "Jess, we have a new case. There was a guy attempting to kidnap a woman." he said. "He only speaks french though, strange if ya ask me." the man said. "Alright, Iðll be there in a shorty, thanks Justin." Jess said to him and he left.

Jess walked into the back room of the interigation room without looking at the suspect and took the papers on the table, suspecting them to be information about the suspect, which turned out to be correct.Though it was mainly in french but Jess understood it for a secret reason only she knew and would tell no one else. She herself was french, born and raised in france. In fact, her true name was Jessique Bellechose which meant Beautiful thing. He did'nt say his name but said that he had no family and that he had lost it a long ago. He was staying with an irresistably beautiful woman. She was really pushing his buttons and was kind of the reason why he did what he did. She looked up to see who the criminal was who was obviously committing the crime because of passion to see a familiar face. She rolled her eyes at how soon he had gotten himself in trouble but she suspected that he had done this on purpose to get her attention.
