Chapter 6 – Jetlag II
I woke up with my headset on my shoulders. it was 6:00 P.M. on flight. "Book!" as I whispered to myself and get the book out of my backpack. "My bestfriend is a Vampire, hmm?.. Hopes this one is best.." reading it and hours pass when I my stomach growls for food. I finished 21 chapters and still far away from the end. "Hmm?.. do vampires can be invisible?" asking myself.
7:00 P.M and still reading and Brian is still on deep sleep. A flight attendant walked pass through us checking if someone needs something. I was gonna ask how much time would take arriving at the port of SFIP. then a girl whos wearing tight Long sleeve jacket answered my Question "12 or 13 hours" as she Smiled towards me. She has brownish blond curly hair and shining blue eyes. I sat before her and the time I looked into her eyes, shining like a shooting star. AWHH!! Dat beyutipil AYS!!.. mind you?..
I didn't bother continue reading the book and eat the snack I brought. When tiredness and sleep struck me falling to fast asleep.
"TIME SKIP"
As my Brian tries to wake me up in a hurry, I opened my eyes and book was covered my face. Time check, 3:10 A.M. on my watch muttering to Brian as the Flight attendant said "Get ready with your things and we will land in 10 minutes" she repeated twice as I quickly packed my things, a sudden light caught the attention of my eye from the window. A beautiful Sun Reflection from the City Buildings made me both excite and nervous. I thought of something that really took me minutes to recover. "AHH!!! Jackets and Bonnet!" as I said to myself. Brian was excited too. Can't wait to stand up for the first time. "Preparing to LAND off!." The woman said.
"Wait? Bout' Felix? Its about 3:30 A.M?" said with worried voice. He smiled and laughed a little.
"Man! Time zones exist! Its 11:30 A.M here in SanFan!" as he said with a sarcastic voice and I frowned. The moment talking to him, we landed safely and let us walk through the door. Breezy air pass through my body and face as I shiver a little bit. Brian walked faster, reaching his bag and mine as well, putting in a Push Cart and head towards the somewhere that we can have a sit. I see him pulling some calling card. He was subscribed to a roaming subscription for 10 days on his cellphone. Dialing as he patiently waiting for Felix to answer the call but suddenly a soft moisture hand was covered my Eyes until I removed and turn back. Extremely shocked as I saw the face of my eldest brother! . I looked and stared at him as I scanned my eyes of any changes to his physical appearance. He looked the same as me and hugged me for a while, hugging him back as much as I could and greeting him. "OH!! Kyle how I miss you so much!!??. You change a lot there buddy?" cute wobbly tearing eyes with glasses. "And you too BRIAN!!!" he hugs us while speechless moment went thru.
"Breakfast? Lunch? BRUNCH?!! What? Where?" I looked up a minute and think. "MC.DONALDS!. if? :D" as Brian and Felix agreed . We walked a moment to the parking lot and find Felix's car. Found the color dark blue Ford as what I've seen on Facebook. As we placed our things on the trunk of the car. I managed to find where did I put my jacket and bonnet. I remember and starting to find where it was. A black skinny jacket with Pewds logo Brofist on it. Such a big fan though :D. they called me together and making my way and entering the car.
"How was living here for 5 years Felix? last time I went back here, you live in Third Avenue, San Mateo right?" Brian asked as I'm speechless and watching through the window passing through big buildings and appartments. "Yeah? But I moved out because of what happened last two years ago. You know what I meant to say :3" Felix answered his question. "How bout' you buddy? You look sleep deprived? How's your life back there? You've grown up now! Boy! Gladly to see you again Kyle!" asking me questions and didn't hesitate to answer all of his questions until we arrived at the Mc. Donalds. "Order UP! " Felix said. "One Chicken fillet, fries and pancake." I said to the counter and went to find some empty seats, there was actually not a lot of people are here to eat. Well I sat beside a window, and saw the two coming towards me handling a tray with the meals. "What did you order both of you?" asking when I see 2 pieces of bacon strips and an egg. "Shopping after meal? I am bored!" Felix said with taking bites of his egg and strips. "But!?.... (nom-nom' eating)... Before that?. Let's get our luggage back to your house" as I keep continue on my eating moment. "What if we watch some movies on theater. I heard 'Olympus Has Fallen' is a great movie?" he says and I nodded and keep continue eating. I didn't realize my bag was beside to Felix where he sat and took my bag. He opens it up and checks what is inside. He found the book I was reading while onboard. He took it and read the tittle. "WHAT!!?? You like vampires too kyle? You are like my younger twin bro ^_^" kawaii... I've just recently found out he was addicted to vampire stories as well. Not much as Brian though, he reads books but not like the two of us, me and felix.
