"Alice, please, we're going to miss it if you don't hurry!" Arthur looked to the young blonde who was tugging her suitcase from the carriage, impatiently tapping his foot.

"Don't you yell at me, twit! It's stuck on a-" The case popped out and she went falling to the stone street, and Arthur sighed as he helped her to her feet.

"Look at your hair, you've made a mess of yourself again," Arthur reached for her bows but the small lady went rushing forward to the boat which was ready to leave port, and he went chasing after her, sighing mentally at the mess her left pigtail had become.

----------------------------

Father down the docks, a young man with golden hair and green eyes watched the pair- specifically, Alice, although he knew not if that was the name she went by here. His red coat wavered in the breeze and he frowned slightly. In this time, the air sure smelt oddly. Boarding the large ship once again, he pulled the bright red strip of cloth from his pocket and sighed- "Ah'll get ye back..." He muttered.

He slipped behind the wheel and followed the ship cautiously, watching the soldiers out by the docks who stared at his ship- although, he believed they were staring from hostility (although they only wondered why such an old looking ship was on the waters).

With dark eyes and a slight scowl, he swung his hand out to his side, and the waters beneath the ancient wooden ship began to swing, pushing him closer to the large ship. For a while, he waited- there was no way he would get away with the girl while the block-headed soldiers shot at him.

Slowly but surely, the city disappeared from their view, and the sun did as well- now was his time to act. He challenged the forces of nature and pushed the water with magic, his boat speeding up and coming up right next to the large ship. And this strange man whistled loudly, his green eyes lively once more as the crew came rushing up from the belly of the ship. Some remained, but only to load the cannons. The anchor was dropped and when the ready was given, he raised his hand in the air- now, the people on the other ship began to stare, confused and wondering is this was just as show.

But when the Pirate Captain shouted 'FIRE!' and the cannons launched the cannonballs forward, panic ensued. The crew on the deck and he jumped the gap between their ships. One group split off to find the Captain and drop the anchor, while another went to herding the people onto the deck. The Pirate Captain took what was left over and began to search the deck for the blonde woman, the one who had resembled his sister to a point.

-------

Arthur grabbed Alice by the wrist, tugging her down the hall, away from the screaming people and pirates. He kept her close to him as they found a ladder to the Quarterdeck. He helped Alice up, and then he went up too, just as the mysterious Pirate kicked the door at the end open, spotting the British Gentleman's coat tails.

Alice and Arthur went running down the deck, other pirates staring in awe as they ran, "Now, I know it's crazy, but you've gotta jump!" Arthur shouted as he tugged Alice close to him. She gaped, then shook her head furiously, but he dragged her along, "You have to, Alice!"

Suddenly, a bullet flew between Alice and Arthur, nearly hitting Arthur. They both whipped around and looked to the advancing pirate crew, Arthur pulling Alice closer to him as the Captain advanced. When Arthur's eyes connected with the strange Pirate Captain, the two men blinked and stared.

They were exactly identical, two men with everything in common. They were both skinny, they both had the same scraggly blonde hair, the same intense green eyes- the only difference was the fact that Arthur looked classy, and this man was just.....pirate.

The Captain stood tall and proud in front of the two, a fiery grin highlighting his features, "'Ello.." He directed his eyes to Alice, scanning her over before his eyes darkened slightly, "And what a lovely lady we have here..."

Arthur growled, "State your name."

"Aye, Ah shall. Don' order me 'round." the mysterious Captain smirked, pointing his gun at them both, "Ah'm Captain Arthur Kirkland, 'nd ah gotta take that little lassie off yer hands."
