I wake up in the morning and feel too tired to even get up. I just needed more sleep. That won't hurt.

"Hey sweetie, get up." Mom says.

I groan as Mom just stares at me.

"But Mom! Seriously, I need some sleep! It's my 16th birthday! I need energy Mom!" I protest.

"Fine, but get up soon! I'm not getting you up anymore, so try with an alarm." Mom said and seemed like she was mad.

I listened to Mom and just set an alarm on my phone. After that, I fell right back to sleep. Back to my dreams.

Dream 1: "happy birthday Sabrina." I hear Bradley greet me. I smile and hug him. "Thank you Bradley." He smiles and continues to hug me. I love him, don't judge me please. I had a happy celebration since there were so much fun big stuff happening. That was fun!

Suddenly, I heard my phone chiming. Oh, that was my alarm sounding. I smile as my dream floats into my mind again. Then I knew it was time to get up. I sighed and took my body out of bed.

"You awake? Your alarm just rang." Mom says and smiles slightly.

"Don't you see me?" I said and closed the door.

I needed to look good, I dressed into a pretty white dress that wasn't too long. It was plain, since my mom can't afford good stuff. But I had to be thankful, although it wasn't fair to me. I mean, my friend Rowan even has better stuff. Everyone else, I was so sure Mom as working so hard to get the money, I thought about having a dad,if that would change anything.

I slipped on a flowery headband to go with my dress. It matched perfectly.

I stepped out of my room and showed Mom.

"You look beautiful, Sabrina." Mom said, admiring my look.

"Thanks." I said and walked to the kitchen.

I was hungry, a small snack would be alright. But it was morning so I was only looking forward to breakfast. I took out a big family sized-cereal box and poured it into a blue glass bowl. At last I poured white milk into the bowl. I rinsed a silver spoon and dipped it in my cereal.
