Later my mom invited all the people I begged for to come. He good news was... Everyone who I invited came!
"Thanks Mom." I said and she reached out for a hug.
I hugged Mom. Although I wasn't quite happy with only a mom, I still cared for her. I did want a dad but it would never happen, so I should try to stop thinking about it.
"Hey." someone surprised me.
I was just thinking while someone greeted me!
"Oh, hey Bradley!" I exclaimed, twirling my finger through my hair. "Oh my gosh! I haven't seen you for like ages!"
Bradley smiled and said "I know. But I came."
I smiled even more and hugged him. I just couldn't help it. In middle school he was my big crush. Now we were dating.
"I missed you." he said.
"I know. Thanks for coming. I really appreciate it." I said and smiled shyly.
"Happy Sweet 16!" he exclaimed, smiling.
I watched as his chocolate brown eyes met mine.
"Do you think today's going to be fun for me?" I asked hopefully.
Bradley grinned and said "Of course! I don't know why not."
