Soss
Why did I do that?I mean, it's true that I need a secretary but I was hoping to get a smoking hot chick to check out and flirt with everyday. Not a little university kid.
I couldn't think while he was rambling! He was going on and on about God knows what and I just wanted him to stop!
So, I agreed.
He's probably stealing shit from my office now.
Damn.
I sighed, walking towards an amused France.
"He was totally checking you out boss", she smirked.
"Yeah right, and you were totally not flirting with him", I answered, sarcasm leaking in my voice.
France's eyes widened in surprise.
"I did not flirt with him! Are you saying my gaydar is malfunctioning 'cuz it was frantic when he walked in the lobby", she yelled, causing many people to glance at us.
I rolled my eyes. What even is a gaydar?
"Okay France whatever you say, just promise me one thing okay?"
"Fine.....what?", she muttered.
"Stop checking out everyone's junk", I smirked before walking away chuckling under my breath.
"I am not checking out everyone's junk you son of a bitch! Ahhhhhh I hope your elevator explodes while you're in it! I hope that university boy upstairs stole you wallet!", France frantically screeched, waving her arms above her head.
She was the only one who could talk to me like that without getting fired. Advantage of working with my dad and I for almost ten years.
"Well I hope you get a rash from all the makeup you wear bitch!", I mocked from inside the elevator, making sure I said it loud enough so she could hear me from the middle of the room. Just before the elevator doors closed I heard her outraged gasp and the sound glass crashing on the floor.
Oh France.
I reluctantly pressed on the 21st button of the elevator, my nerves only getting greater each floor I passed.
I do hope this was not a bad decision, but I highly doubt that.
___________
Parker
The first thing I noticed was how big it was.
His office was big. Really really big. Like two times my math class big, which is saying a lot. It was also neat, almost too neat. I frowned as I waited for him to come up.
I can't believe this is really happening! I got a job!
I frowned. Maybe Soss was messing with me.
Ugh. Why is life so damn hard?
I glanced around the office noticing one desk near the elevator doors and one further away to the back of the room. That must be his. Hearing the elevator ding, I jumped and scrambled away from the elevator trying to give the boss some space to enter. Clumsily moving backwards, I tripped on my own feet and went sprawling in the floor with a loud crashing noise. I groaned and stayed on the floor, too embarrassed to get up. Hearing muffled laughter behind me, I groaned even louder.
Why does this have to happen to me?
I glanced up, blushing as I saw his hand held out above me. I took it and almost flew to my feet.Damn. He's strong.
I glanced at him under my eyelashes, bracing myself for the worst. Like, getting fired after five minutes of becoming a secretary.
That would have to be a new world record.
___________Soss
Seeing him sprawled on the floor was hilarious. Much better than seeing him run away with a bunch of 100 dollar notes in his hand. I pressed my hand to my mouth to stifle the laugh that was climbing out of my throat as I heard him groan in protest. I swallowed my smile and put my 'I'm your boss respect me' look to intimidate him. Holding out my hand to him, he grabbed my hand and I hoisted him up."Thanks", he muttered quietly.
"No problem, what's your name kiddo?", I asked.
He started glaring daggers at me, so different from his puppy eyes from earlier that I took a tiny step back.
"My name is Parker and I am not a kid! I am twenty so piss off", Parker huffed loudly as he crossed his arms across his small frame.
I should be angry, he isn't allowed to talk to a superior like that but the way he got all red from anger and embarrassment was just too enjoyable to watch. He acted like a small kid.
"Sure Porcelain", I mocked grinning as his cheeks got even more red if that's even possible. " Call me boss", I said wiggling my eyebrows and watching him scoff in disbelief.
Teasing him was fun.
Yeah.
I could live with this.
