Episode 8: Brainstorming & Videochats
Wyatt and Steffy begin brainstorming ways to get Forrester out of Rick's hands.
Two hours later
"What about shares?" Wyatt says, "My dad has some, you, Thomas and Ridge all have shares."
"Yes, but there is no way Thomas is going to sell his shares. And my dad is not going to work with Bill."
"Damn it!"
"Maybe we should get Bill in on this?"
"Yeah and then I'll do all the work and he can hand over Forrester Creations to his favourite golden boy," Wyatt says bitter over Bill's blatant favouritism, "No thanks."
"So has should we do then?"
"Blackmail," Wyatt answers simply.
"What?" Steffy asks shocked.
"We get dirt on Ricky and then bye bye CEO," Wyatt smirks.
"You'd really do that to your own brother in law?" Steffy asks surprised.
"Yes. Firstly he's not my brother anymore and secondly it's revenge," Wyatt closes his eyes as he remembers walking in on Hope and Rick's video chat.
Flashback
"So you really think there's no chance for you guys?" Rick says.
"No, we're over. After all that's happened... I don't think I could take looking at his face everyday."
"That's a good choice Hope. He doesn't deserve you. He's the reason your son is dead. If it wasn't for him, his crazy mother would never have been in the picture."
"Thanks Rick. I just wonder how much longer he is going to stay.
I don't think he can fix this. Ever."
Wyatt leans his head back on the door and closes his eyes, tears cascading down his face.
His own wife blames him for the death of their baby. Their baby, which he loved more than life itself.
The next morning
Hope awakens to find Wyatt at the door with his suitcases. "You're leaving?" She asks trying not to seem eager.
Wyatt looks down and nods, not answering her. Hope's curiosity gets the better of her and she asks, "Why?"
"I have to get back to the real world. I can't keep playing this cat and mouse game with a woman that's supposed to be my wife," He remarks coldly, staring her dead in the eyes.
"Excuse me?!" Hope says, "I just lost my baby, sorry if I'm not ready to play happy wife with you!"
"I just lost a baby too! You think I didn't love him?!"
Hope gets extremely and blurts out, "If you really loved him you wouldn't have killed him!" Hope is shocked at what she said. She never thought she could say that to him out loud.
Wyatt was hoping that she'd tell him to stay, tell him that they could get through this together... but instead his worst fears were true, and she told him she blamed him for their son's death.
He grabs his bag and heads out the door without a word.
That was the last he saw of Hope and after that comment, maybe the last he'd ever want to see...
Flashback ends
Meanwhile...
"Maya Forrester, Maya Avant Forrester, Mrs Rick Forrester, Mrs Eric Junior Forrester," Maya says before sighing happily, "Lead Model, Co-owner of Forrester Creations, all the money and status I want."
She grabs Rick's phone from their bedside table, drives to Forrester Creations and heads to his office, only to find Rick isn't in his office.
He's probably doing some business thingy... what should I do in the mean time? Ooh I know! I should go see Caroline!
Maya heads off to Caroline's office with an evil smirk gracing her features.
