Happy 30th Anniversary!

It was night. You were sitting on Your bed, alone, thinking of Link and how he saved You. He was now in prison, for some reasons You don't know. You want to help him with all Your heart, but... there's nothing You can do. He's Your dear friend and You could never abondon him, never.

You cried and begged Hylia for releasing him, however, there was no chance to save him. Everything You can do is visiting him, but not always. You have to elude the guards and when they catch You, You've got some problems... And that's not good for You, either for him.

You felt that something was wrong... something bad was coming. That was also a reason why You couldn't sleep.

When You were finally able to close Your eyes, being tired of crying, You heard someone screaming:

- MONSTERS! THEY'RE COMING!

- W-...what? - You asked Yourself and immediately looked through the window. You saw a horde of monsters. Knowing what'll happen, You decided to visit Link and help him get out. He's the only one who can save those people...from war.

When You got out, You saw that the whole village became crowded really fast, children started screaming and crying, womens too. While running to Link, You turned around to see what the others are doing. Some guys started fighting and looking at them made You want to help them, but... You can't fight. You're really bad at it and that's why You HAVE to rescue Link.

When You arrived... Link wasn't there. You kneeled down and tried to think what could they do to him... execute? But... no. They couldn't do THAT to him.

Or...?

Lots of tears flew from Your eyes. You started crying and heard a whisper, then felt as someone grabbed Your shoulder. You turned around to see this person...

It was... Link. He was again in his green tunic, with his red scarf and cape, but still with lots of wounds.

- Y/N... I'm sorry. Please, hide somewhere... If I won't come back... - he said, but... You stopped him.

- No! You HAVE to come back! I can't let You DIE! It's not fair! You did so much for those stupid people! They didn't even say "thank You"!

- I don't care if they'll thank me or not. - he put his hand on Your cheek and continued. - I care about You. Y/N, I can't let anything bad happen to You. I knew that this time will come and we can't help it, but I promise... I promise that we'll meet. Even if it'll take thousand of years, I'll meet You again. Even if we're not going to be same as we are now, we'll be friends. I... I will love You forever, Y/N.

Link... he's seemed so calm right now... He was looking right in Your eyes, while You were still crying. Now, You saw as a tear flew from his eye, too.

He turned around and walked away. You could only see him fading in the distance.

He... didn't come back.

You woke up in Your bed, crying. This dream You had... it was...

- Y/N...? Y/N! - someone called Your name. - W-why are You crying? What happend? - when You looked at him, You saw Link in blue tunic with some white designs. He was holding a bow in one hand, but he grabbed Yours with another. You couldn't remember too much, but... You remembered him.

- Y/N? ...H-hey... come on... Your father is going to scream at me that I made You cry...

- Link... - You said his name. You were sure it was Link. He seemed diffrent, but... You felt it was the same person. You also remebered some memories with THIS Link. You started crying even more and hugged him.

- Thank You... thank You for... for coming... for being with me... You... You didn't break Your promise... Link... I-..

- Shhh... Y/N... It's over now. It's all right. - he said, as he petted You. You blushed a little and hugged him tigher, whispering...

" I love You "
