"Mom!" I yelled across the house.  The moving company had just finished unloading the last boxes of our belongings into the house and were waiting for their money.

"Coming!" she responded as she scurried into sight.  She grabbed her wallet off the kitchen counter and paid the people who had so kindly moved our stuff into the soon to be furnished room.

"Juliet, your room is upstairs to the left.  It has a bathroom, and a balcony."  She informed me with a smile. I smiled back, stacked three boxed of mine, and headed to my new bedroom.

Juliet, that is my name.  My mother was obsessed with the drama by Shakespeare.  My father left my mother and I when I was seven and we haven't heard from him since then.  For all I know he could be dead.

Currently I am seventeen and a senior in high school.  It was the end of the first semester when we moved.  So starting Monday, today is Saturday, I will be attending Franklin High School as the new girl.  To be honest, I'm really worried how my new fellow students will think of the new, intelligent girl.  At my old school I had the best grades in my class and rarely ever missed a day.  I mean, at least I didn't dress like a nerd.

I opened the door to my new room, and was greeted by the blinding sun from my open balcony doors.  I close the doors and dig in one of the boxes looking for the cream colored, floor length curtains.  Once I find the two curtains, I immediately go to hang them up.  Sadly, I am too short.  I jump for about five minutes trying to reach, but fail.

I go downstairs to retrieve the rest of my boxes.  Hopefully I can stack a few boxes and get the curtains up by standing on them.  I would ask my mom to help but we are about the same height.

Walking upstairs in a careful matter, I drop the boxes outside my door.  Gathering my breath, I closed my eyes in fear of being blinded once more, as I open the door.

Do you know how when you close your eyes while something bright is shining and you see colors like orange, yellow, and red?  Well, I didn't see that.  The room seemed shaded.

Confused and scared, I opened my eyes.  The curtains were up.  Looking around frantically, I saw nothing.

"Hey Little Miss Sunshine, looking for me?" I turned around so fast I gave myself whiplash. What I see standing in front of me is a vary handsome guy who I assumed was around my age, that was dressed in dark clothing.  He had sparkling green eyes and brown hair, wearing a devious smirk on his face.

"Done checking me out yet?"

"I was not," I reply a little too fast.

"Yeah right.  I'm Beast by the way." He says walking closer and offering me his hand.

"Well I'm Jul- wait why are you in my room?!" I practically yell.

And you will never believe this. He laughed it off like it was perfectly normal to break into someone's home and hang up their curtains.

"I just got back from my friend's house and from the corner of my eye I see a pretty, unknown girl hopping around, trying to accomplish something she obviously could not.  So, I used the oak tree between our houses to come and help you," he says with a goofy grin.

"P-pretty?" I stutter.

"Yeah." he said as if it wasn't a big deal to compliment a self-conscious girl who had her heart broken. But then again, he doesn't know that.

Before we left, my boyfriend of two years broke up with me, saying he found someone else.  Seb broke my heart and I am still trying recover, but it is extremely hard. He was my first love an I still love him.
