"Julie, wake up," Beast shook me slightly.
I grunted in response.
"Julie, I'm serious."
"No," I grunted in reply, covering my face with his blanket.
I heard a sigh then the door opened. Finally, he left me alone.
Cold.
That is the only thing I could think or feel at the moment.
Cold.
I heard laughter feel the silence of the room.
Cold.
Let me be more specific, cold water. Yes, he used the oldest trick in the book to wake me up.
I bolted upright. He is going to die.
I chased him around his house yelling his name before I lost him.
"Ugh," I moaned, heaving a sigh.
If I can't find his, how will I kill him?
I checked everywhere. The bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, front yard, back yard, laundry room, even the cabinets. Though, I highly doubt he could fit in any of them.
After relooking in all of those places again, I gave up. I feel like I missed somewhere. I decided I would just get ready for school.
For school, I had fishtailed my hair to the left side of my face. I also applied mascara, powder, and a light red lipstick to my excuse of a face.
Last night, I grabbed a blue and white striped shirt that had three quarter sleeves with skinny jeans and my favorite brown sandals, from my new home. After slipping on my clothing, along with clean undergarments. I left the bathroom to leave for my new school. Grabbing a granola bar, I searched the house again, while eating my breakfast.
I still couldn't locate Beast, so I had to drive my old, worn down truck to school.
I arrived at the school around 7:55 and classes start at 8:00.
As soon as I stepped through the door, an arm wrapped around my shoulders. I know that smell from somewhere. Beast.
"You left without me," He gasped, acting like I had hurt his feelings.
"Well, if you didn't want me to leave without you, you should have come out from hiding," I stated matter-of-factly.
"I thought we were playing hide-n-go seek. Aren't the rules to not reveal your hiding position until found?"
"Where were you anyways?" I curiously asked.
"Ever check under my bed?"
I slapped his chest, "How could you fit under there you're so.... fat?"
He unwrapped his arm from around me and flexed his drool worthy muscles. "This is all muscle, baby."
My heart fluttered at the sight of his arms. Holy mother. I knew he had a good chest from yesterday, but this. Whoa.
"Like what you see," he questioned then rewrapped his arm around me. I tried not to whine that he had stopped flexing. I wasn't the only one though. Girls were drooling everywhere in the cramped hallway. Only then did I realize he was leading me somewhere.
"Beast, where are we going?"
"The janitor's closet," he stated unconsciously while rolling his eyes.
I shrugged his arm off me trying to ignore the death glares of teenage girls. Why did I have to make a stupid bet with the school's 'bad boy'?
