"Oh, thanks I guess. So what's your name?
"Oh no you don't Mr. tattle tell you don't get to know my name" I wasn't going to have someone working for the cops give me in. you can be sure about that.
"Alright whatever you say Belladonna"
"How do you know my name?" I was appalled
"Easy you have a rap sheet remember. Cops keep tabs on everyone who has a rap sheet and since you were involved with said suspect in question it's my job to know your name" alright now he really did sound like a cop.
"Alright look here golden boy I don't know who you are or what you want from me but you can forget it. Get out of my car. Don't think of me, don't look at me and don't even think of ever talking to me again. Or I will make sure you regret it"
Several days had passed and I had still not seen or heard from that kid Michael. Bless, pure bless, I was winning races left and right, jasper was still just as much of a hot head as ever. I should be happy right? Completely ecstatic, no worries. No constant looking for his tall structure, his road muscles, his crocked smile, you would think right? Well so did I...
Yet three days later and here I was looked for this kid everywhere. What if something happened to him? What if his sea blue eyes were no longer the same shade of blue? What if someone like jasper found out he was a rat? They would mess up that cute crocked smile, and, ok what's wrong with me? So what if he was taller than my 5'5 stature, he had to be at least 6'3 or 6'4. And it defiantly didn't affect me that his hair was golden enough to shine even in the dark. No. None of this, not again. I promised myself after how badly everything had went the last time I wouldn't make that mistake again. I wouldn't make that mistake again. I won't be falling for any floppy hair, bright smile, wide eye, tall build, with all those muscles, and the way his laugh... No stop it Bell. Why couldn't I get Michael out of my head?
It's been nearly a week now. I have continued to win races and I have continued to look for the kid every night I race. Tonight however I wasn't going to look for him in the crowd. I wasn't going to waste my time looking for someone in a sea of people; I had the same mentality when it came to my parents. My father doesn't know I exist and my mother gave me up for adoption when I was four. Turns out not many people look to adopt a redheaded little girl with big dull brown eyes and freckles that cover her cheeks. But this is yet another thing I will not dwell on. No tonight was my rematch with jasper and I planned on betting him yet again.
