On the Inside

    When they got to Skys therapist's office Jacqueline stopped her.

"Look Sky, I know it's going to be hard but you need to tell them everything and I mean everything"

"I don't know if I can Jacqueline, but I can try"

"You have to. I'm going to be here at 10am to pick you up be ready by 9:55am okay?

"Why won't you stay?"

"Just please do what I ask"

"Okay Jacqueline. Thank you" Sky grabbed her hand then left.

    Sky walked in the front door not thinking about where she was going. Then all of a sudden, she bumped into someone and almost fell but regained balance.

"Oh my sorry"

"Oh it's okay" Sky looked up.

He reached out his hand to help her "Here um... Sorry I wasn't paying attention to where I was going"

"Neither was I" She said with a little chuckle.

"Are you Sky Martinez? Dr. Eli's patient?"

"Umm... Yes.." She said silently.

"Oh I'm Riley. Riley Woods"

"Oh you're Dr. Eli's other patient"

"Well, i'm not his patient i'm his um..."

"What?"

"I'm his... Well, i'm not a patient I just come to visit him sometimes to tell him things"

"Oh okay well, I have to go my appointment's starting soon"

"Wait um, how will I message you?"

"Are you able to message my phone instead of talking here?"

"Sure what is it?"

    He handed her his phone and she started typing her phone number, then took a picture of herself.

"Here you go, you can message me anytime"

"Thanks, bye"

"See you later"

    Sky sat down in the lobby waiting for her name to get called. When all of a sudden, her phone buzzed in her pocket. "Hey it's Riley". He messaged her. She was so happy she felt like they were going to be amazing friends.

"Sky Martinez" called a lady from behind the counter.

"Yes?"

"Dr. Eli is ready to see you."

"Okay"

Sky stood up and followed the lady all the way to his office.

"Sky, My favourite patient! How are you feeling?"

"The usual depressed"

"Nothing new?"

"Well, I am pretty happy cause I just met this guy..."

"Riley?"

"Yes, that's who I met"

"He's very nice from what I've seen in his records you have a good choice in friends."

"Well, I wouldn't say we're friends. We're acquaintances"

"Well, as I see in both of your files you go to the same school"

"We do! I mean that's fine"

"Mhm. Well, anyways what's been going on?"

"Well...

    They talked for about an hour until Sky had to leave. It was actually one of her best appointments. Especially making a new friend. And now that she knows he goes to her school they might talk more. At least that's what she thought.
