Sleepover at Cadenza's (4) - Part 2

-Narrator POV-

They put on 'The Blocking Dead' and the girls tried to huddle together but the boys stole Aphmau away from them. Katelyn paused the movie. The rest of the girls huddled and cuddled together, while the guys where fighting on who got to sit next to Aphmau.

"Guys! Just let Aphmau pick who she wants to sit by!" Katelyn reasoned and the boys looked at Aphmau.

"Okay... 1, Zane can sit outside far, far away *Zane smirks and chuckles under his breath* 2, I dont know between Garroth, Laurence and Aaron." The three boys looked at each other and smiled then looked at me with devious eyes. "W-whats that look for?" Aphmau asked sounding a mixture of scared and creeped out.

"We have a solution..." all three smiled.

-Aphmau POV-

I'm honestly so creeped out and scared, why aren't the girls helping me?!

"Come here Aph." Laurence said while lifting me up. Laurence sat me on the couch and Aaron sat in front of me on the floor, Laurence and Garroth sat on the sides of me and Katelyn played the movie. I admit, I did enjoy have the guys around me, it made me feel protected and safe. A few times in the movie i would scream and Garroth and Laurence would hug me and comfort me. One of the times I got so scared that I jumped on Garroth.

"S-sorry..."We both blushed and got off of him. A few minutes after that I jumped on Laurence. "S-sorry..." But when I tried to pull away, Laurence pulled me closer. I snuggled with Laurence till the movie ended.

---Time skip (movie ends)---

-Garroth POV-

Ugh! Laurence always gets the girl! I have to stop this...

"Guys, we should get in our Pj's!"

"Yah, great idea Garroth!" Aphmau said with a sleepy yet radiant smile. I lo-- NO GARROTH! You like her a lot... but its to soon to say love.

-Aphmau POV-

I got up and headed upstairs to my bag after the rest of the girls changed. I put on my purple crop top pajama tank, and my white pajama shorts. After I brushed my hair a bit I was about to walk downstairs and heard talking, so I waited at the top because I didn't want to intrude.

"Laurence! I can't believe you!" Garroth yelled.

"What! I'm just taking what i want! Unless you want her too." Laurence challenged.

"U-uh... Fine! I will!" Garroth claimed. I started to walk down that stairs.

"Bold claim Garroth, if you were being truthful in your claim... then do it now." Aaron said with a hint of challenge in his voice. Garroth looked at me, and his face turned practically red as he started walking over to me.

"Do it Garroth... I dare you... do it." Laurence challenged even further. I saw a mixture of anger, desire, and fear in Garroth's face. He took a deep breath and he looked into my eyes. He looked as if he was having a hard time containing himself.

"Gar--" He cut me off by kissing me, it took a second for me to realize that he kissed me, and once I realized, I pulled away and ran back upstairs. I felt tears in my eyes. I dont know why im feeling so confused and conflicted. I ran into the bathroom and locked myself inside, a few minutes later I heard a knock at the bathroom door. "Hm..." I grumbled at the door.

"Hey Aph... Its Aaron, may I come in or could you come out? Its just me, the rest of the girls recommended we should just give you time to cool down, but I just wanted to check on you."Aaron said trying to convince me, okay it worked. I cracked the door open and let him inside, he locked the door behind him, I admit that, that made me feel a little uneasy. He smiled "Thanks for trusting me."

"No problem." I sat down on the floor with my head in between my knee's. Aaron sat in front of me and lifted my head up. "What?" I said realizing it sounded snarky.

"No need to get all salty with me, I'm not the one who kissed you." Aaron stated. I gave him a cold glare, and he frowned. "I-Im sorry, I didn't mean to. I just wanted to lighten the mood."

"Its fine, I shouldn't have overreacted to him kissing me. I should have just pulled away and said I wasn't interested. Im so stupid." I looked down and the tears started coming again.

"Aph, you aren't stupid, you just weren't expecting it. So in the moment it happened, you got scared and freaked out a little bit." He reassured me. I looked up we locked eyes and I smiled. "See, there's the Aphmau I like." He smiled.

"I guess you're right." He got up and pulled me up with him. I hugged him and unlocked the door. We walked out, "Thanks again." I smiled and we walked downstairs. I walked to Garroth and tapped him, to wake him up. He opened his eyes and looked shocked when he noticed it was me. I motioned for him to follow me, we went upstairs into Cadenza's room. I motioned for him to sit next to me on Cadenza's bed, and he sat down. "I-Im sorry Garroth." I looked at him and our eyes locked.

"For what? You did nothing wro--" I cut him off.

"Yes. I did. I overreacted when you kissed me, I could have pulled away and said I wasn't interested instead of running away." I looked down, but he lifted my chin back up for me to face him, I stared into his beautiful icy-blue eyes.

"I don't expect you return my feelings. I just want you to know that I care about you, that I like you, and that I possibly... love you." He held his gaze on me.

"I just dont want anyone to get hurt. Garroth, I..." I started quietly sobbing and Garroth hugged me.

"Sh...its okay, lets go downstairs and get some rest." I nodded and we headed downstairs. I laid down and fell asleep.
